Piney Bay Campground sits on Dardanelle Lake between the Ozark and Ouachita National Forests, which span 40,000 acres filled with abundant wildlife, bald eagles, and opportunities for bird-watching, swimming, boating, and fishing. Wooded wetlands, forests, and hills represent the natural ecosystem. Those who love to fish will find abundant bass, bream, crappie, and catfish.
Kids love the park’s educational programs that are held at the amphitheater. Piney Bay Campground also is near Bona Dea Trails and Sanctuary, which is comprised of 86 acres of wetlands and low woods. It features a 6-mile system of trails.

Fair Park RV Park is municipally owned by the city of Hope, Arkansas. The Hope Fair City Park features a community center, a coliseum, an arena, and five baseball fields. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission stocks the 11-acre Mike and Janet Huckabee Lake that has a boat ramp and is surrounded by nature trails.
You’ll love the swimming pool at Fair City RV Park. It is open to the public from Memorial Day until Labor Day. There are daily rates and annual memberships. Aquatic aerobics classes and swim teams meet Monday through Friday. There also are two playgrounds, a disc golf course, a basketball court, and three tennis courts.

With the Crater of Diamonds State Park just a mile away, this little De Queen, Arkansas campground is convenient. The friendly on-site staff will teach you how to hunt for diamonds and provide you with the necessary tools. Murfreesboro RV Park even has a special area for diamond washing.
You can buy firewood and other supplies right on the premises of this campground, and the staff offers free ice to all the guests. If you want to get to know your neighbors, you can attend the potluck dinner that’s held every other Thursday. For a few minutes of quiet time, check out a book or DVD at the library and enjoy it while the kids are exploring the playground.

Magnolia RV Park is surrounded by a wooded area and overlooks a private pond where you can fish to your heart’s content in the catch-and-release program, which is especially fun for children. Some of their RV sites are waterfront, and there is a covered, lighted pavilion and fenced dog park where you can let your pet run. The grounds are like a park with a fountain in the pond, grassy picnic areas and trees all around.
Magnolia RV Park is one of the Good Sam RV parks in El Dorado, Arkansas, that will help reduce your vacation expenses. It also offers special rates for SAU students and staff. It has all the conveniences you need for your RV and is close to the attractions of El Dorado as well as several state parks with hiking trails.
