The Savannah South KOA is in Richmond Hill, which is a small town on the southwestern edge of Savannah. This campground is only a few blocks away from Interstate 95, and when the traffic is light, you can be in downtown Savanh in less than a half-hour. In downtown Savannah, you can enjoy one of the many walking tours offered in the city and see the many sites, including places where notable movies like “Forrest Gump” and “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” were filmed.
