Dakota County Fairgrounds has sites on level grass with water and electric hookups for eventgoers and RVers looking for a place to park their rigs. The campground is located directly on the fairgrounds and has reasonably priced sites and clean restroom and shower facilities. The park is pet-friendly and people-friendly, and staying at the fairgrounds is an opportunity to meet other folks from all over the country as well as to take in some of the many events at the location.
The fair is held in August, with all of the fun of an old-fashioned county fair, including games, rides, livestock, live music, racing, and more. An old-fashioned town is a yearly favorite with participants. Campers, however, are invited to stay for the season and to enjoy the eclectic fair community.

River Terrace Park is located in Monticello, Minnesota. This RV park offers access to the Mississippi River, and it is operated by the Monticello Chamber of Commerce. River Terrace Park features a large playground, and it is open from early spring to late autumn.
