Bighorn RV Park is one of the closest RV parks in the Pueblo, Colorado area to the glittering grandeur of the Rocky Mountains. Despite this enviable location, Bighorn RV Park charges surprisingly low rates. This RV park is tiny, but it features a heated pool.
Bighorn RV Park is a great place to stay if skiing is on your agenda. Plus, being close to the Arkansas River is incredibly convenient in the summer months. The park also is within walking distance of a post office.

Pleasant Valley RV Park of Howard is operated by the city of Howard, Colorado. This city is to the west of Pueblo, and it is in a forested area. The main feature of Pleasant Valley RV Park of Howard is the rabbit population that hops from place to place.
When you’re done petting the bunnies for one day, you can head to Downtown Howard for a bite to eat. Since this RV park is right off US Highway 50, it’s a great place to stop for a night. In addition, the Arkansas River flows right next to Pleasant Valley RV Park of Howard.

Pikes Peak RV Park is situated to the north of Pueblo. This RV park is small, and it is near Red Rock Canyon Open Space. In addition, it is also close to the Manitou Cliff Dwellings.
Some of the sites at Pikes Peak RV Park are located right next to the creek. This gives you the luxury of falling asleep to the sound of burbling water every night. Plus, Pikes Peak RV Park is within walking distance of Old Colorado City.

Prospectors RV Resort is in Cañon City. This RV park used to be a KOA campground, and it features numerous kid-friendly amenities. It is one of the biggest RV parks in the area and is situated at the foot of South Twin Mountain.
This RV park’s jumping pillow will have your kids entertained for hours. There is also a large playground on-site as well as a camp store that carries basic necessities. There also are plenty of awesome hikes in the area surrounding Prospectors RV Resort.
