Our park is located off the main road between Whitefish and Colombia Falls. You feel like you are out in the country, yet only about 20 minutes from Hiking in National Forests as well as Glacier National Park. The park is very quiet with many different site types, both shaded by the pines as well as out under the stars. We also have two large dog runs, two exceptionally clean bath houses and a spacious laundry room.
With its prime location, you are just minutes away from every adventure you can take advantage of here in the treasure state. You can play 18 holes of golf at Meadow Lake Resort or Whitefish Lake Golf Course, or you can enjoy the scenery of Glacier National Park, which is only 22 miles from your campsite.

This park in Garryowen, Montana is the perfect place for the history buff! Located halfway between Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone, it’s close to historical sites such as the Little Bighorn National Monument and the Custer Battlefield area. Red Lodge KOA Journey is in the historic town of Red Lodge. This RV park is conveniently accessible off U.S. Highway 212 about an hour southwest of Billings. Fishing is available at Red Lodge KOA Journey, and there is also a covered pavilion on-site.
Red Lodge KOA Journey stocks firewood as well as small bites at its on-site snack bar. Unlike many RV parks near Billings, Red Lodge KOA Journey features a pool that is kept open all summer. Best of all, you can rent bikes on the property.
“Overall good place to camp. It has a small play ground and an outdoor pool when it is open. It doesn’t offer the normal gift shop or breakfast, at least as of April 30th. However the rates were less and it has the power, water and septic. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of his way to find us a good spot.” – Misty, Google Review

“The view and sunset was so spectacular we held off dinner for an hour and took pictures along the road between the campground and the grazing fields towards the mountains past us. The sites are clean, flat large gravel, and well-tended with grass between sites. A common grass area by the facility building has a fire pit for group gatherings and in the morning they run old school tractor type sprinklers along hoses to keep the grass healthy.” – Airstream, Google Review
