You will enjoy watching the waterwheel turn at the grist mill that was constructed in 1738 and walking across the covered bridge built in 1844. Enjoy easy boat access to the Pequea River if you enjoy boating or fishing. You may also want to try kayaking or canoeing on the river.
“We camped here for just two nights. One day it rained all day and night. We weren’t able to enjoy the pool so I can’t comment on that. Campground staff were very kind, clean and quiet campground. We enjoyed our stay (despite the rain). I liked that the staff went to each camper and taped a note that there was a possibility of flooding with instructions on what to expect should an evacuation be imminent. We would stay here again.
