LaSalle/Peru KOA is located in Utica, about 55 miles southwest of Joliet. It is close enough to I-80 and I-39 to be convenient but sufficiently far away to keep highway noise from intruding. This RV campground near Joliet, Illinois is also just five miles north of Starved Rock State Park.
LaSalle/Peru KOA is both near other attractions and is an attraction in its own right. It is peaceful and well maintained, and it boasts a heated pool, game room, basketball court, and playground. Hi-Tide Beach & Campground is located about 55 miles west of Joliet on the west bank of Little Indian Creek and has a lake with a beach. The campground accommodates both RVs and tents. If you want a campfire, you can buy firewood from the camp, and they will deliver it to your campsite.
