This military campground, which is located only minutes from the commissary at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, offers a great place to relax. Since the RV park is uttended, it is important to call ahead of time during normal business hours to make your reservations. If you are looking for peace and quiet, then this campground may be the perfect spot.
“This campground is located on the Parris Island Marine Corps base. Check-in is virtual once you get in the main gate. The campground is not staffed so you find your site and park. There are only 20 sites open after the recent hurricanes. Full hook up concrete sites are all back in and very spacious. There is no tree shade. The bathhouse and laundry facilities were very clean and well maintained. The sunsets are very nice and there is a waterfront park a couple miles down the road. The historical marker trail behind the golf course was very educatiol. Verizon service was excellent. We would return again!
