Located on 157 acres in rural Salem, Salem Farms Campground offers plenty to do. Swim in 2 pools, play on the playgrounds, play miniature-golf, Bocce, volleyball, badminton, basketball, tennis, horseshoes, or shuffleboard. Nature trails, lakes, ponds, and streams are only minutes away.
There is so much to do here. For the kids, the campground offers two playgrounds, a petting zoo, two pools, video games, nature trails, and arts and crafts. Adults will find an assortment of sports activities available.

I found sitting at the pool their seasonal people are very welcoming to us non seasonal guest. We DID NOT pay for a single activity except when they played candy bingo. Markham Meadows Campground is a family friendly campground located 11 miles and 21 minutes away from Gillette Castle. There are two ponds for fishing, free paddleboating, and free kayaks.
