Although the campground at Franklin Mountains State Park doesn’t offer a lot of amenities, it puts you in a great spot to enjoy the outdoors. If you’re traveling with a large group, you’ll appreciate the group camp areas that can accommodate up to 24 people. When you’re done socializing, you can explore the surrounding area, which is home to birds, mule deer, reptiles, and even mountain lions.
