For wet days, there is a fully equipped game room to enjoy and on all the other day there are adventure playgrounds, picnic area and adventure gem mining available. If you love the water, then American Wilderness Campground and Event Center has its own swimming lake, complemented with sandy and Tadpole Beach, sprinkles and Tiki huts. There is an 11-acre fully stocked fishing lake, if you want to escape the busy life for a day; you can also hire a boat and get even further out onto the water. For the most active visitors, there are biking and hiking trails, a basketball court and a volleyball court.

This is the third park on the list that’s located in Amish Country (right in Louisville). I think we’re starting to see a trend. It’s also a park that’s made our list as one of the top ten RV parks in the Akron area! And why wouldn’t it? Cutty’s is a fantastic park that offers everything but the kitchen sink (actually, it offers that too). Rock out to some live music on the weekends, or show off what you’ve got in the “Cutty’s Got Talent Show.”
