“I am updating my review of this RV park. I travel for a living and basically live in RV parks. I wouldn’t say I am an expert, but I would say I know how to rate one. This park is very well kept. The Wi-Fi works well (unless you are in peak use time, and that can’t be helped). The owners are very helpful people and have always done everything they could to make me feel at home. The monthly price is very reasoble, and you aren’t billed for water or electricity. And a really nice touch is that they can now sell propane on site!” – Shane and Shelby, Google Review

Pecan Grove RV Park is located in Lake Village, Arkansas. The facility lives up to its me as it is nestled in a historic grove of pecan trees. You will find all of the amenities that you could hope for at this RV park and campground.
Staying at Pecan Grove means having full access to Lake Chicot, which is equipped with a fishing dock and boat ramp. “Nice place! We just needed a decent place to park for the night with our camper. It was 9 p.m., so not all RV campgrounds are available at that time. We found them online along our route and called them for availability. They answered and said the office was closed for the night. They said we were welcome to pull in and hook up and just pay in the morning. So we did! Bathrooms were clean and had A/C, which I appreciate! It is right off the highway, but traffic was not a problem for us. A very handy, clean, open place with no gates closed at night. You can just stop anytime, which makes it nice when you’re just traveling through and need some sleep! Thank you, Pecan Grove RV Park!!!” – Georgie, Google Review

Grand Marais Campground is run and operated by Union County, Arkansas. It is home to the area’s annual Bream Festival and fishing tournament. The facility is best known for its excellent bream fishing, which is a plus for RV travelers who enjoy the fishing sport.
The campground is close to the Felsenthal Lock and Dam, which is a scenic site. It is known to be a clean and well-kept campground with plenty of shady areas. Grand Marais also has plenty of fishing opportunities. It’s also close to the town of Strong, Arkansas, which is convenient if travelers want to visit a city for entertainment and dining.
“This campground is next to the Felsenthal lock and dam about 12 miles from the town of Strong, AR. We were down here and checked it out but did not stay here. It has paved roads and sites with 30-amp power, water, and sewer available. Most sites just have water and electric. There’s lots of shade available, and the place has a few long-term residents but not nearly as many as the Crossett Harbor campground. I think Verizon Wi-Fi will work here, but it will be slow. We only had 2 bars on our phone. The rate is the posted senior rate for water and electric hook up. I think the full rate was $10-$11 for water and electric, and water, sewer, and electric was $13. Looks like a nice place without much hustle and bustle. We camped at Grand Marais Campground in a motorhome.” – pumper9x9, RV Park Reviews

“This is a relatively new park with 30 sites placed around a very attractive landscaped pond. The pull-through sites are long enough to leave your tow connected. The sites and roads are gravel. There is lots of grass around the sites and grounds. The park is well maintained, very neat, and clean. Hookups were easy, and Wi-Fi and cable worked well. The main building contains the check-in office, bathrooms, showers, and laundry. The only difference from most RV parks is that the entrance to all these services is from inside this service building. So to use the showers or bathrooms, you enter the building past the front desk. This building is also the lounge and meeting room and TV room. The bathrooms are sparkling clean. The showers are very large with a complete bathroom as well and are even decorated. This is a very comfortable RV park and a nice break from the road.” – Jack, TripAdvisor Review
