If you’re in the area between September 1st and April 30th, you can stay in an extra-long campsite at Picacho/Tucson NW KOA Campground.
Since Picacho/Tucson NW KOA Campground is located in a sparsely populated region, few restaurants are in the immediate area. However, campers at this KOA can have a nice dining experience without leaving the park. Frankie’s Chuckwagon serves steaks that draw in the locals as well as the campground guests.
