This is a family-friendly park, and it has been so since it was opened in 1970 by the same owners who remain in charge today. They strive to give guests a great camping experience that will keep them coming back year after year.
This park has a lot of amenities to keep campers happy, and all the facilities are well-kept and modern. There is a large recreation center with many games, a stocked general store with everything you need for a camping vacation, and even a disc golf course. The campsites are big-rig friendly and well-kept with leveled concrete pads that offer some of the best RV camping near Syracuse.

Otisco Lake Campgrounds & Marina is located 20 miles southwest of Syracuse and east of Skaneateles. It is owned and operated by the Ryfun family. These Finger Lakes campsites are located right on Otisco Lake, which is home to a variety of fish including bass, trout, walleye, and tiger muskie.
If you love boating and fishing, you will love Otisco Lake Campgrounds & Marina, which is located right on the lake. You can rent motorboats, pontoons, canoes, kayaks, rowboats, and stand-up paddleboards. There are also nature trails, and many birds live in the area, including bald eagles, ducks, and geese.

Cortland Country Music Park & Campgrounds has a decidedly country flare. Located in Cortland, the park has a pond located in the center of the park that offers fishing. Planned activities include fishing derbies, potluck dinner, and pancake breakfasts.
Live music is performed every Saturday night at the on-site Opry Barn, and dances take place every Sunday. Tribute dinner shows performed by talented local bands are a favorite among campers. The New York State Country Music Hall of Fame is also on-site and houses memorabilia from famous NY country music stars.

Yellow Lantern is a 40-acre campground near Ithaca in the town of Cortland. Large, level, grassy sites, and clean facilities make this spot a great place to park your RV and enjoy the area. Planned activities take place throughout the summer and include events like Christmas in July, Halloween in August, bowling for groceries, candy hunt and more.
There are plenty of fun activities in this area to keep you busy. Just a few minutes from the campground, you will find mini-golf, a bowling alley, movie theatre and eateries. Cultural offerings are available as well and include the 1890 House Museum, the Cortland Repertory Theater and the Cider mill.

The Villages RV Park is provided as an accommodation by the owners of the Turning Stone Casino. It’s a great way to enjoy an extended stay at Turning Stone and take time to explore the surrounding area as well. This property is also rated highly among Utica–Rome–Oneida campsites because it includes a walking trail, outdoor sports, and ponds for fishing and swimming.
The amenities at Villages RV Park are excellent. They include bathhouses, a heated pool and a jacuzzi. You can visit the casino from the park, but the location is convenient for a tourist vacation exploring the Oneida and Utica area. In addition, you can head up to Verona Beach State Park on Oneida Lake or drive into nearby Rome for a shopping trip.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of boat tours, and the town Ithaca is home to Cornell University, Ithaca College, and the Ithaca Science Center. Other attractions in the area include the Cayuga Wine Trail and Watkins Glen Racetrack.
In addition to being near Cayuga Lake and Watkins Glen Racetrack, Spruce Row features a fishing pond stocked with trout, sunfish, and bass as well as a mini-golf course, a playground, and an onsite store. The Fun Hut is a rainproof pavilion where you can enjoy group activities like cookouts, live bands, and crafts. There are also many weekend events like Hawaiian Luau Day and the Annual Pig Roast. The park is immaculate and well-landscaped with a pool, laundromat, dump station, camp store and more. It is family-owned and -operated. It is clear that the magement takes pride in this beautiful piece of property. This is one of the long-term RV parks around Ithaca, NY, and they offer cottage and RV rentals as well.
