River View RV Park sits in the town of Vidalia, which is more centrally located in the state. If you ever wanted to fish or swim in the Mississippi River, this is the campground to visit. Since it’s located right off Route 425, you can get to the park relatively quickly from Monroe.
At this campground, you’ll find lots of outdoor games and activities to take part in as well as pavilions, fire pits, and playgrounds. If you have a hankering for a gathering, the rec hall will be at your disposal. There are RV supplies and firewood for sale as well.

This park sits right off Interstate 20, and it is only minutes from scenic West Monroe. This is a big rig-friendly location offering giant sites that can accommodate large RVs and giant turnarounds so that you can easily maneuver. Pavilion RV Park is a great campground that acts as an intermediary location for those headed to the Texas Motor Speedway or who are just traveling between Texas and Mississippi, Alabama, or other Southern states.
This little park has a country feel and lots of greenery on all sides. There is a laundry room, pavilion to have gatherings at, and a small fishing pond located on-site. If you ever need to stock up on essentials, head to the Pilot Travel Center that is right across the street from this RV park.

This is a family-oriented campground with both RV and tent sites. It’s located right on the banks of the Bayou D’Arbonne, which has a peaceful and quiet country atmosphere. The beautiful wooded forests that surround the lake provide some of the best RV camping in Monroe, Louisiana.
While staying at this campground, you’ll have access to some amazing fishing holes as well as swimming spots on the Bayou D’Arbonne. There are barbecue grilling and picnic tables on each site, and you’ll be able to use the rec building for gatherings. Furthermore, the campground is located conveniently by the highway for quick access to the surrounding areas.

You will get a real country feel while also being close enough to the highway to have quick access to all the other attractions in the region. Antique Village RV Park has a pond on-site that will provide some nice fishing and paddleboating opportunities. For those who enjoy hiking and biking, there are plenty of nature trails all around. The park is clean and has level pads, big sites, and gravel roads.

This park sits on the Red River, which is about 90 miles away from the city of Monroe. It’s a beautiful site with gorgeous views of the river and surrounding foliage. The sites are well-maintained, are big enough to support big rigs, and come with fire rings and picnic tables.
Besides all the fishing, swimming, and boating to do on Red River, there are playgrounds, outdoor games, and a rec hall at the campground. You certainly won’t get bored while parked at this property. There is an on-site laundromat and self-serve RV wash available as well.
