2. The Real RV Show
It seems like all the RV Shows in California are in the most beautiful towns, right? Well, The Real RV Show is no different. Both the spring and fall shows take place at the California State Fairgrounds in Sacramento, right next to the shoreline of the American River. It’s a gorgeous location to hang out, tour a few rigs, and mingle with fellow RVers. The nearby American River Parkway offers a relaxing, quiet spot to have a picnic or get away from the crowds.

The Real RV Show is dedicated to giving its attendees plenty of options. Many RV shows are put together and promoted by the RV dealers themselves, which limits the competition. The Real RV show, however, uses a third-party promoter to recruit hundreds of different dealers with hundreds of different products. That way, you get more options: dealers must bring their A-game to win your favor, which means better deals and discounts for you. Last year’s show had a huge collection of motorized RVs, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and truck campers from dozens of dealers throughout the state. 3. NorCal Boat, Sport, and RV Show
Here’s another show that’s not often heard about, but boy is it a fun one! The NorCal Boat, Sport, and RV Show features not just a collection of RVs, but also a collection of fun and unique things to do and see. The show is at the Shasta Fairgrounds in Anderson, California, a quiet town wedged between the Shasta-Trinity National Forest and the Lassen National Forest. The Sacramento River passes through the north section of town, and there are several quaint RV parks along its shores.
