Skydiving over the Great Pyramids of Giza with funds from RVshare!

At RVshare, our passion is helping you share your passion with others! Whether it be traveling, living a more minimalist lifestyle, or renting out your RV to fellow travelers! That’s why hearing your success stories means so much to us. We want to empower RV owners to become entrepreneurs, creating a rental business and using those profits to do amazing things! One of our owners, Efrain, recently used his rental income to go on the trip of a lifetime! Learn more about his rental business and amazing vacation. Thanks for sharing with us Efrain!

How did you find RVshare as your rental platform?

I found RVshare through Facebook advertising and have enjoyed the platform thoroughly. I’ve made enough to justify buying a second RV, so it’s worked pretty well so far for me.

Can you walk us through listing, booking and communicating with RVshare?

Listing an RV is pretty simple. You need to have a few pictures of both the exterior and interior of your RV, a brief description to show your possible renter confidence that your rental will work out for them, and the specs for your RV. Booking requires you to screen your renters to make sure they are a good fit for the size of your RV and their intentions for renting it. Communication is fairly simple through the messaging site and if I have to contact RVshare, I message Nicole RVshare through Facebook. I don’t know what I would do without Nicole’s help!

Can you tell us about running a business through RVshare? What do you think you do to keep your RVshare business moving fluidly, easily?

It’s all about your five star reviews! Answer all questions from renters promptly and explain every single detail about your RV to the renters. Showing them confidence will give them confidence in your rental as well, especially to folks that have never rented one before. Those are my favorite cause they have treated my RV the best!

What is the ultimate goal you’d like to achieve with your RV rental business?

I’d like to expand to at least 5 RVs.

Beyond the income, what has the RVshare experience done for you/your family?

Getting those 5 stars and hearing about my renters’ stories when they come back is pretty awesome in itself. Best thing is that I’ve been able to use the extra cash to travel. I just got back from skydiving over the Great Pyramids of Giza and was able to fund part of my trip with what I’ve earned through my rentals.

What advice do you have for owners who are interested in listing their RV on RVshare?

Be patient with your renters, stay in contact and help them out in case anything happens. Give them a step by step walkthrough before they leave. Keep your listing and rates updated to what the market is like at the time.

What specifically do you like about RVshare?

Nicole, the support agent who has helped me deal with every situation when I need site help. The amount of business I’ve been able to generate and the people I’ve met from all over the world.

What have you learned along the way that would make the process easier for RV owners new to renting?

I give them the confidence they need. I tell them nothing will happen if they’re just cautious of their surroundings when on the road, and that it’s easier than it looks to drive an RV. I have 1,003 skydives in all over the globe so I’ve learned how to instill confidence onto others. Just be careful and have a blast!

Does your RVshare payout cover all of your expenses and include profit?

Yes, it covers my payments, storage, maintenance, and profit.

Have you enjoyed any types of personal and family experiences in your RVs?

Yes, I go to Burning Man every year, Zion, Joshua Tree and all sorts of festivals. My RVs go everywhere and so do I.

Tell us about this epic trip you took to fly over the pyramids thanks to RVshare!

I was approached by a Spaniard at Burning Man about some crazy Egyptians organizing an event to skydive over the Great Pyramids of Giza and I told myself I needed to add that to my bucket list. A few months later, work and renting RVs gave me enough of a budget to go join those crazy folks and skydive over the pyramids. I don’t think it’s possible to describe it in words, but wow… That was one of the highlights of my whole life. I saved my 1,000th skydive for that moment!
