At RVshare, we want to change the way you travel. We want you to know that RVing is a convenient, affordable, and adventurous way to reach and stay at your destination. Taking an RV trip to one of our National Parks is our favorite kind of vacation! That is why we have created online guides for all 60 parks. We will tell you a little about the history of the park, hiking trails, and weather conditions, as well as nearby restaurants, museums, and landmarks! We want your trip to be seamless from start to finish, whether you travel by RV, car, or fly in to one of the more remote locations.
Why Visit the US National Parks
Taking an RV trip to a National Park is about more than just hiking for the day. While these parks do boast amazing trails with some truly breathtaking views, there is so much more to do! Bicycling, bird watching, boating, climbing, fishing, horseback riding, and swimming to name a few.
The National Parks span across the United States, and some of them are pretty easily accessible. Many of us have traveled to the Grand Canyon on a family vacation, or had the pleasure of witnessing some of the iconic landmarks like El Capitan in Yosemite. But these guides will bring awareness to some of the lesser known parks as well. For example, did you know that 5,650 acres of the Virgin Islands park is submerged under water? Or that Wrangell-St. Elias in Alaska is the largest of all the parks at 8,323,146.48 acres?
National Parks Adventure
The National Parks provide endless adventure for die-hard nature lovers and indoor enthusiasts alike. Even if you don’t desire tent camping or spending all day in the great outdoors, there are plenty of ways to be entertained. Taking an RV trip is the perfect way to enjoy the creature comforts of your home while also being immersed in nature. After a long day of hiking you can return to your RV, take a shower, and snuggle up in bed with some hot cocoa. If one day of hiking is all you can take, have no fear! Our guides will show you where to shop, some tasty restaurants, museums to explore, and where to sightsee nearby!
