Green River State Park
is a small oasis in the center of the Utah desert. This is the starting point for many river-rafting adventures. From here, you can raft more than 120 miles through some of the most spectacular desert scenery in the United States. Green River State Park sits near some of the most remarkable landscapes in Utah, making it an ideal base camp. Many sites are more than 100 feet long and all offer pull-through access, so parking is a breeze. Every site comes with full hookups and free Wi-Fi for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Within the park, you’ll find bathrooms, hot showers, and an area for pets. Sites start at $43 per night.
iCamp Green River
Located just over a mile from the park, iCamp Green River is another beautiful option in town. Here, full hookups and free Wi-Fi enable you to enjoy your RV to the fullest. If you’re coming with a group, you’ll appreciate the sparkling-clean bathrooms, shower, and laundry room. The office even offers free coffee every morning. Choose from both back-in and pull-through sites, some up to 70 feet long. Rates range from $35 to $41 per night, plus tax.
Green River KOA Journey
Find a comfortable spot to kick back after a day in the desert at Green River KOA Journey. It offers full hookups, a swimming pool, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi, so you’ll always have something to do. If you’re bringing a pet, there’s even a dog park. With sites up to 80 feet long and on-site propane, the KOA is ideal for RVs. If you want to get active, rent a bike right from the park office. Inside Green River State Park
Many visitors come to Green River State Park to access the Green River. Bring your own boat or book a day trip with a local outfitter. Outside Green River State Park
Green River State Park is in a relatively remote part of Utah, but you’ll find plenty to do within an hour’s drive. How to Get to
Green River State Park
Green River State Park is located right off of Interstate 70 in Utah. If you’re driving down from Salt Lake City or Provo, you can take Highway 6 and Highway 191 to I-70.
Entering Green River State Park
Green River State Park is open every day of the year. In the summer, the park hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. In the winter, the park is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
