Appleton Wisconsin Class A RV Rental Reviews

Overall experience did not meet expectations. The listing posted this motor home as excellent condition, and we found it far from this condition. A few of the noted issues to the overall condition of the unit were various cosmetic damages to the exterior of the coach, both windshields were cracked, a few of the exterior storage door had trouble latching closed, a hub cap came lose during transit, and there was damage to a sidewall on a rear tire. The inside of the motor home was found mostly clean other than the bathroom which had debris built up pasted inside the toilet bowl. We found a few of the storage doors were broken, and a few other miscellaneous concerns not quite in order. The black water tank from the previous trip was still full so we had to dump it at our first stop. The cables to hook the DVD player to the TV were missing as was the water supply hose for the RV. All of these issues were seemingly small for the scope of our trip. The two things that made the experience not as enjoyable as it should have been were the fact the unit was out of propane which meant all kitchen became obsolete as well as any hot water. The campgrounds and RV parks I stayed at were unable to fill the tanks saying this was a special type of tank and they only filled the detachable bottles. The other issue was that if we connected the water supply hose or pressurized the tanks, there was a quick water leak coming from the base of the toilet so water would flood the floor and soak into the carpets. Those two issues made for a poor experience overall. The fuel economy was to be expected with a V10 gas engine, and the unit drove quite well. I did find while driving the air conditioning does not maintain good temperature and would seem to come and go with the cold air.

Great RV experience! This was our first RV vacation and was a memorable one. Ben took plenty of time showing all the details and care for the motor coach. He was always available when we had any other questions along the way. Amazing motorcoach for our family. Fantastic renting experience and will certainly do it again!

This was our first time renting an RV as a family. If you want to experience a brand new RV, then buy one! 'Bugsy' is 8 years old and has had a lot of low mileage usage. We picked it up with less than 34,000 miles and put another 3,200 on it over the week. Mileage ranged from 5-8 mpg depending on how hard you push the Triton V10 gas engine. This would be a great RV for tailgating. Plan on bringing a tent along if you have more than 3 guests for sleeping, however. Everything mechanical works but remember it's 8 years old. Overall, I would recommend this if you are planning on using it locally (less than 100 miles/day) and are a group of 3 or less if you want to sleep in it. It's a good value!

We had a very positive experience! Easy and quick communication, pick-up, and check-out. Jonathan and his wife were very friendly! I marked accommodations as a 4 star as we didn't drive it but 15 miles and we're staying at our families cottage lot where bathrooms and water were available for use. We had 3 adults, a pack n' play, and bassinet in the RV, definitely couldn't fit anymore adults so Jonathan was correct in saying fits a small family or small people for the pullout. Thanks for a positive first experience using RVshare.
