Winchester Virginia Class A RV Rental Reviews
This was our first experience renting an RV, and we absolutely enjoy it! Maylo and Al have a great RV with all the amenities you could need, including DirecTV. For its size, the RV was relatively easy to drive, especially with the cameras to help. We definitely hope to rent from them again
Our experience with Jae and his RV was incredible. The RV comfortably fit 7 adults, all of the electronics worked perfectly, and everything came as advertised. Jae was also very helpful. As a bunch of first time RV’ers, he was always available to help whenever we had questions or concerns. We all had a great experience!
The RV was immaculate and superbly maintained. It had everything you could ask for and lots of thoughtful extras the owners included. Franco was easy to work with and very responsive. This was a great experience for my whole family. It was our first time renting an RV and my wife definitely had her reservations but she was quickly won over by this “glamper”. We can’t wait for our next adventure in this awesome RV! Thank you Franco!
The RV itself is in decent working order aside from a water leaking issue that lead to me having to spend money refilling the fresh water tank only hours after arrival. We had it for 5 days in total and everything worked fine otherwise. It was upon return that left a bad taste in my mouth. We arrived back at 10:30am and waited 45 minutes for Richard to show up. Richard charges $25/hr to run his generator passed the given 1/hr per day. I learned later that other renters charge as little as $4/hr. This was my first time renting an RV from anywhere and just feel like I was taken advantage of. Had I known that going in, I would have seeked other options or just rented a hotel. When picking up the RV, I was told that since we weren't going to a camp ground, not to worry about draining the sewage. No cost was discussed at that moment. I understand that there was going to be a charge for that, but after bringing the RV back with a full tank of fuel, I was charged a $50 re-fueling fee on top of a $150 drainage fee for him to drive to his local camp ground to drain it. He charged me $200 for dirty sinks, stove, refrigerator and microwave when I personally spent hours cleaning them. The stove top works, but the actual oven does not ignite. The switch panel for the drop down bed is broken and there are loose wires all over. Last but not least, the electric stairs that are supposed to extend out when the side door is opened were broken so in it's place was a cheap fold out plastic step that probably couldn't support more then 200lbs. One of the women guests broke it exiting the RV carrying a tray of food and twisted her ankle. We were able to patch up the step with a 2x6 piece of wood and continue using it, but were charged $50 to replace it. My overall experience with the RV was fine, but being nickel and dimed for everything and adding nearly $600 to the overall charge really left a bad taste in my mouth.
