Dennis is a very polite, pleasant, quick in communication, and likable owner to deal with. I believe he truly desires people to enjoy the benefits of RV recreation. The RV rental positives were 1) the layout, 2) lower than normal rental cost & deposit, 3) unlimited miles, and 4) amazing overall 14+ mpg. Some negatives were 1) inoperable right rear suspension air bag, 2) short charge on batteries, 3) difficult starting of generator, 4) inconsistent cooling of refrigerator, and 5) unsatisfactory tire integrity. Mechanically, the right rear air suspension bag was inoperable with a leak, so both bags were close to deflated to prevent imbalance but giving us a rougher ride on bumpy roads. Furthermore, it left the RV rear end lower than it would be inflated. Halfway through our trip, a dip in the road took me by surprise and slammed the rear down, causing damage. I lost my $1,000 deposit and will likely pay $500 more to reach the $1500 insurance deductible. This may or may not have prevented the incident. The condition issue with the tires was discovered as soon as I began driving; the ride was rough. I was on a tight schedule so on the first day I took the RV to the tire shop. A belt was broke on a tire and the shop would not balance the others due to signs of dry-rot, even though the tread wear was good and the tires were not that old. Because I was driving my family across the country, I consulted with the owner and personally purchased four new tires. The owner offered me two free days to extend my trip for the trouble I had had, which I am grateful.
