When we met this owner at the RV a week before our trip he advised us that he would get his belongings out of the unit and clean it up. Neither of those happened. He never went over a checklist with us prior to our trip. He told us where the key was hidden so we could go pick the RV up. He was out of town which we knew so we assumed the unit would be ready. We had no choice but to take it like it was. The trailer was filthy, not swept anytime recently. The counters were dirty. There were beans lodged in kitchen sink drain covered by a dirty moldy rag. All smelled pretty bad. Toilet bowl had not been cleaned in who knows how long. Floors were covered with dirt and a lot of dog hair. All the cabinets were full with his food, tubs and bedding leaving us little to no storage space. Refrigerator crisper appeared to have never been cleaned. Frankly we don't live like this. As of now we have thoroughly cleaned his RV two times. He hasn't cleaned it once. To his credit he did teach us a lot on operating the RV as we are new to this. He also helped us on some troubleshooting early in the trip as we learned our way of RV camping.
