Bloomington Normal Illinois Class A RV Rental Reviews

Brett was awesome going over the operations of the RV and his expectations of use. This RV comfortably housed and entertained my family for a brief trip and was easy/stable to drive in the highway environment. Excellent RV! This is one trip we didn't need a vacation from the vacation! Thanks Brett, we will definitely rent from you again!

Aneta was very accommodating and easy to work with. I wish all owners were like her on rvshare.

RENTER, BEWARE! My family and I experienced the RV Rental from HELL! We rented the RV for two weeks, June 15, 2018 through June 29, 2018. On day one of our trip, the refrigerator and freezer did not cool down until 12 hours later! It did not cool to safe levels until we connected to electricity at the RV campground. Over $150.00 worth of refrigerator and freezer food were lost to spoilage! Throughout that day, we texted the owner to let him know what was happening. He accused us of overstuffing the refrigerator and opening the refrigerator door. We sent him a photo to show that we had not overfilled the refrigerator. The next day, the generator died out and would not start up! Temperatures inside the RV quickly climbed into the mid 90’s! Of course, without the generator, the refrigerator and freezer stopped working again. We continued to text the owner. He accused us of letting the gas tank go empty (below ¼ of a tank), even though we had told him that was not the case: We had previously filled the gas tank up. It took ninety minutes for the generator to cool down before it would restart. Again, the owner responded that there was nothing wrong with the RV and that “we were just trying to get out of our vacation”--specifically, he started blaming my wife, saying that “She didn’t really want to go on the RV vacation!” and that “There was no refund!” We were absolutely devastated! We had planned and looked forward to this family vacation for one year. My wife had planned out our entire trip with visits to Mammoth Cave National Park, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, North Carolina, and Shawnee National Forest. When that generator stopped working and wouldn’t start up for an hour and a half, we knew that there was a serious mechanical problem! We knew that we couldn’t safely drive to North Carolina and then back to Illinois. Outside temperatures were pushing 100 degrees fahrenheit. Inside the RV, temperatures quickly rose to unbearable and unsafe temperatures. Our family vacation was ruined! The next day, we returned home. As we were unloading our personal items, the generator stopped running again! Within minutes, the inside of the RV was 92.3 degrees fahrenheit! After only three days, of a 14 day scheduled family vacation, we had to return the RV. The owners have absolutely refused to honor a refund. This RV rental cost us $2,000.00 for the RV, $393.00 in required RV insurance, $140.00 in owner charged Toll Transponder fees, $1000.00 Security Deposit, and over $150.00 in lost food. We have filed a formal dispute with RVShare and have submitted text evidence, RVShare communication evidence, photo evidence, and receipt evidence. Those charges don’t even include all of the money lost in reserved campground fees and lost vacation days. They have lied at every turn! They claimed that they had to take the RV in to be checked within 72 hours of us returning the RV, yet they submitted an old receipt of service to RVShare. They accused us of wanting to get out of our vacation! Why would anyone who planned a vacation nearly a year before, who paid for RV campground reservations, and cave tour reservations, etc. want to end the only family vacation that they have for the entire year! This RV has serious mechanical problems, and the owners will lie and accuse and do everything they can to take your money! There are so many other people who are renting RVs. Protect yourself and your family: Do NOT rent from this owner!
