Boise Idaho Class A RV Rental Reviews

Never again for us. Owner cancelled our reservation just two days before our scheduled departure for our family vacation, severely impacting our plans. We NEVER heard from the owners (two messages in the app, phone voicemail and even a text message); we never received any explanation for our forced cancellation, either. Also, this particular RV showed as still available on a competing website, even after my reservation was processed on RVshare. Also, immediately after processing my cancellation, this unit immediately showed as “Available” on RVshare. Again, no explanations...the owners NEVER communicated with us at all. When we complained to RVshare, not only did they do nothing to help us or offer to compensate our situation, they explained that RV owners can cancel on you “at any time”. When I tossed out the idea that an owner could cancel on you “one hour before your scheduled pick-up”, the representative confirmed that is entirely possible. RENTER BEWARE! Our vacation is ruined, and we have NO IDEA why... Never again. If I could give ZERO stars, I absolutely would!

This is the first time my husband and I have rented a motor home and the experience was absolutely wonderful. From the quality and cleanliness of the motor coach to working with the owner, we were impressed. There are rare moments when everything about an experience is positive, and this is one of those times. We rented the FR3 to take my 93 yo Grandmother to Yellowstone and to have the family join us for tours while in the park. My husband is a firefighter and wouldn't tolerate anyone not wearing a seatbelt. Fortunately the FR3 has 6 seat belts aside from the driver and passenger seats which allowed the entire family to be belted. The large windows and seating arrangement gave everyone a great view while underway, perhaps with exception to the spot on the couch immediately behind the driver. However, the couch is so comfortable (with kick-out foot support) that this spot can easily be used for napping. For freeway driving, we discovered the sweet spot was at 65 miles per hour. Fortunately the comforts provided by this RV eliminate the stress of rushing to a destination. With the provided coffee maker, we were able to hit rest stops, fire up the generator, and produce fresh coffee for an immediate injection of caffeine. While we didn’t use the FR3 to sleep on, the coach is equipped with clean, quality linens. Being our first time renting, we weren’t sure about road noise. While there’s additional noise when it’s breezy outside, we found it possible to carry on conversations while underway on the freeway no matter where we sat. Breezy weather required us to raise our voices but really, who needs to talk that much when the scenery is so beautiful? Finally, we couldn’t get over how easy it is to empty the grey and blackwater tanks, flush the system and clean the hoses. We emptied the tanks at the Stage Stop outside of Boise, which is free of charge, but the Flying J on Federal Way also has a good facility (they charge a $10 dump fee). Renting this clean and well-equipped FR3 was the highlight of the trip. The owner made it an exceptional experience.
