Siskiyou County California Class C RV Rental Reviews
This is the first time we have ever rented an RV. The owner was available for questions and assistance as needed throughout the rental period. The owner is honest and truly cared that my family and I had the best experience possible. The RV ran excellent in the valley and over all the mountain passes. We will rent from this owner again.
My family and i rented the RV for a 5 day voyage across Central Oregon. The RV has been very well maintained and very comfortable to drive and extremely easy to setup for your nightly stays at a RV park. Would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to have a reliable vehicle which is easy to operate and provides a comfortable stay for your family on the road. Patty and Wayne do a great job informing you on how to use the vehicle prior to your departure and are easy to reach if you have questions when your on the road.
1. Bad check in experience: - No checkin instruction was sent before arrival - On the arrival day, the owner messaged us and wanted us to arrive before 2pm. Since we are driving from SF, we tried without stopping and got there on time. But when we arrived at the listing address, he told us it is a place 20 min away, and the RV cannot be ready until 5pm. We have to accommadate that. He should've sent us a message earlier when he knew that RV was not gonna be ready on time. 2. Going through instruction was ok but still miscommunicated. The owner did a good job going through the RV, except for one thing. There was a valve underneath the sofa which she told us we only need when we hook the RV to the RV site with water and electricity, and did not show us how to use that valve. However, when we returned the RV and told them that we had no water running, they said that we should turn on the valve. 3. No water for 2 days. For the first 2 days, water was going through. But after we refilled the water, no more water can come out. At first we thought there was a leakage so we went to refill the water a few more times, which took us a couple hours. 4. Missing backup plans for communication from no cell phone area We parked the RV at a place without cell phone signals so we couldn't get in touch with the owner when we have the problem. We hoped that there is a written down instructions as a backup plan. There was a lot to remember and figure out ourselves.
This was my first time renting an RV, and Kevin and Jenn made it very easy to do so. The profile page on the RVshare site was complete with all of the required info, they were very responsive to my questions via email, and they gave a thorough overview of how to operate the RV. Most importantly, their RV is in great shape, clean, and we didn't have any problems operating it. I would highly recommend renting from them in the future.
