Phoenix Arizona Class A RV Rental Reviews
Spacious , clean , well appointed and easy to drive even for a Brit !!!! - this was a dream RV and was the envy of most other RV owners in the parks ! The owners were polite and helpful and were excellent in communications and even left a basket of helpful and usueful items such as shampoo and even a bottle of wine etc which was a nice touch. Our first RV experience ever was a delight in every way .
Every thing went as good or better then we expected for our first time to rent an RV
Had MANY problems from the moment we left, had to return unit early because we couldn't rely on the unit working correctly or using for the purposes we rented it for. 1. Started with expired tags and registration, we did get current info emailed to us. 2. Kitchen sink didn't work, WE had to replace it! Still waiting to be reimbursed for the cost of faucet but nothing for our labor or time. 3. Generator wouldn't work first night when we dry camped. The generator was out of oil and coolant. AGAIN WE had to diagnosis and fix problem at our cost and time. 4. Continuous order in RV (gray tank clogged) Which made gray water tank overflow into storage cabinets below RV, were our personal belongings got saturated in the smelly water. 5. Entertainment System (DVD) players were never connected, we did not have TV/DVD working until AGAIN WE bought new DVD player to hook up, then realized nothing was connected in the first place. 6. Generator form Day 1 was inconsistent when it would work, so it was unreliable, and where we traveled we depended on it. Forcing us many times to continue driving longer hours just for the A/C, until we could find a RV park with hook-ups instead of dry camping. ADDITIONAL COSTS not planned 7. Many cabinets don't close or are broken. We fixed many of them ourselves just to make the ride and comfort more enjoyable for ourselves. 8. Shower doesn't drain, so always water in bottom of shower with "dirtiness coming up" while showering. 9. When we got to our destination of Tennessee, we had to have an RV repairman come out to resolve issues. WHICH WERE: Gray tank clogged and repairman cleared (odor issues) Rearview camera connections loose (only worked sometimes until fixed) generator was connected (hook-ups) so he couldn't look at to find problems. 10. Windshield wiper blades didn't work. We replaced again at OUR COSTS as we hit a lot of rain on our journey. 11. Headlights are very loose, and not very bright so always had brights on. 12. Downpour in Tennessee, water flooded in from top of the RV. (pic & videos) So many other little things as well unfortunately, with everything that transpired, it was definitely not worth the money we paid. We were in constant contact with the Consignment Co. that leased the unit to us, thankfully they did return or texts/calls. But regardless with all the problems, we feel we are entitled to be compensated for our costs and some of the rental costs returned. Which at this point has been nothing not even our costs for fixes. Extremely disappointed in the service and will NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY OR OWNER AGAIN. If we can't get a resolution we will take further action as we do have all the phone calls/texts/pictures/video of all issues and witnesses. It could definitely be a good unit for someone if it was serviced and repaired correctly, at least after we leased it I think we fixed all the issues for the next renter, except the generator.
