Mohave County Arizona Travel Trailer Rental Reviews

Connie and Dexter were some of the sweetest people we’ve met! We drove from Texas to Vegas to enjoy a nice weekend getaway and they both were very helpful during our travels. It was our first time renting an RV so we had quite a few questions and Connie was always quick to respond and help any way she could. Dexter was so kind upon pick up and showed us everything we needed to know! The R-Pod was very easy to drive and use and we just fell in love with how wonderful it was. It has absolutely everything you could need without taking up too much space. The whole overall experience was amazing. The RPod was perfect and both Connie and Dexter were incredible! We are definitely keeping them in mind for any future travels up that way!

A great RV for 2 people looking to getaway. The camper comes fully stocked with utensils and cooking equipment, TV works too. Super easy to tow!

We showed up to pick up the travel trailer and the host was busy cleaning up the inside of the trailer. I had to wait about 10-15 minutes for the man to come back home to get hooked up and show me the in-and -outs of the travel trailer. I wasn’t given any instructions I didn’t ask for, which being my first rental experience, were very few. I asked that they fill up the fresh water tank as we would be dry camping and have no access to water or power. So I had to wait for that too. After about 30-45 minutes we were on our way. The trailer brakes didn’t work for the first half of our trip. They’d work for about 200-300 yards and then electronically shut off. On the way home the travel trailer brakes worked all the way so there’s def something that needs to be fixed. The listing states that a generator was included with the rental of the travel trailer but when I got there they would only rent me a generator for $20 per day so that was an extra $80 I hadn’t planned on. If you rent this travel trailer make sure you bring all your own utinsels, flatware and cups as the cupboards were bone dry. Bedding wasn’t provided for the two beds that were in the trailer, not even a blanket. Good thing I brought a blanket for the dog to sit on in the truck as I had to sleep with that. The heat and hot water worked fine along with the AC and microwave. We didn’t use the awning so I can’t comment on that part of it. All I know about the awning is it’s there. You can only use the AC and microwave with the generator while dry camping. The rear trailer’s driver’s side tire was completely bald on the inside. No one had noticed it except me when I was under the trailer unhooking the generator. Good thing I saw it and was able to change it for the ride back home otherwise things could have become really bad real fast. I used my own jack and tools as there were none on the trailer but I would think that’s normal. The spare tire holder wouldn’t work to let down the spare tire so I had to jimmy with it for 15 minutes. After finally getting the spare out, the spare cable holder wouldn’t retract back into itself, through no fault of my own. We were camping in a dusty area so we had to bring it back dirty on the outside but we wiped down the inside with the bottle of surface cleaner and micro-fiber towel they provided. I felt bad about bringing it back with a dirty exterior but thought they’d become mad if I stopped at a DIY car wash and cleaned the exterior being late with the return. There are other travel trailers that came with everything included, all you need to bring is your food, so as far as value goes I could have done a lot better with another unit. I would rent this trailer again, now knowing what I know, so I could be more prepared hence being more comfortable while out in the middle of nowhere. The hosts were friendly people and are easy to work with.
