Jose's RVshare Story
What do you do for a living?
I am in the military.
Why did you decide to start renting your RV with RVshare?
Once I bought the RV, I realized how much time it spent in storage. I did a search online and found RVshare. Initially I thought let's post and see what happens--after-all it is free to create your listing. Then the requests started coming in and they have not stopped.
How long did it take for people to start inquiring on renting your RV?
My first inquiry came in within days of posting.
How many rentals have you booked so far?
I posted a few days prior to Labor Day weekend and every month I have had at least one booking. I dont want to brag, but in nine months I've gotten more than 20 bookings.
What’s the total amount of money those rentals added up to?
Approx $10,000.00 and counting.
What were you expecting singing up for RVshare?
Honestly none, I did it thinking I will try and see what happens. I hoped it would help offset the cost of having an RV, also the RV will not break down from not been used.
What concerns did you have about renting your RV?
Privacy at first, but now none. It's an absolutely great company.
What would you say to someone else who’s considering renting their RV on RVshare?
Go ahead and try it. You are in control of who you get to rent to. If you love RVing but can't enjoy as much as you want and you dont mind extra income coming into you, do it.
Is there anything else you would like other RV owners to know?
Customer satisfaction. I feel great when a customer returns the RV and they have the best time of their life and you contributed greatly.
What are the biggest benefits of renting your RV?
I am very thankful to RVshare, I wish I had the capital to purchase more RVs and rent them. RVshare is just great.

My trailer was not being used as frequently as I would have liked. So we considered selling, however with no bites except for the low-ball offers I was looking for an alternative to selling.See More
