Jesse's RVshare Story
What do you do for a living?
US Army Cavalry Scout
Why did you decide to start renting your RV with RVshare?
I decided to start renting to RVshare because I wanted to increase our family income while paying down the debt on the camper.
How long did it take for people to start inquiring on renting your RV?
Probably a couple of days at the most.
How many rentals have you booked so far?
Two so far and I get inquiries every day!
What’s the total amount of money those rentals added up to?
What were you expecting singing up for RVshare?
That I would have to pay a large sum to RVshare, but surprisingly they keep little of the profit.
What concerns did you have about renting your RV?
That someone would damage the RV beyond repair.
What would you say to someone else who’s considering renting their RV on RVshare?
Give it a shot, you've got nothing to lose and you may be very successful and fall in love with it!
Is there anything else you would like other RV owners to know?
Share your RV, share the love!
What are the biggest benefits of renting your RV?
Making extra money and meeting new campers
From the first day of listing I had people inquiring on my RV, and I quickly booked my first four rentals. The best part is the extra income and seeing the happy families, especially with kids!See More
Mostly I wanted to offset the cost of owning my RV so that I could keep it. I would highly recommend doing this. I have so enjoyed meeting the people who have rented my RV and feel as if they are now friends.See More
I had interested renters within one week, and in no time I had made $3,500 off of four rentals. Using RVshare makes my RV payment and provides me with additional extra income.See More
I am retired and I figured I could make money and pay off my motorhome, and give someone the enjoyment of being able to rent a RV. I started getting inquiries immediately! I've made about $10,000 so far.See More
Initially I thought let's post and see what happens--after all it is free to create your listing. Then the requests started coming in and they have not stopped. I’ve already made $10,000 and counting.See More
I received inquiries within days of posting my listing, and this year I did close to $68,000 in bookings. The biggest benefits have been the cash-flow and meeting people from all over the Midwest.See More
I wanted to make money so that I could keep my RV, and I have. I made $12,200 in 2015 and $7,300 already in 2016! The biggest benefits are the money and the people I meet. Go ahead and try it! It's worked really well for me! I love it!See More
My trailer was not being used as frequently as I would have liked. So we considered selling, however with no bites except for the low-ball offers I was looking for an alternative to selling.See More
