Wolf Run State Park Campground

Wolf Run State Park Campground offers 138 RV campsites. Of those sites, 71 provide electric hookups. Fresh drinking water is available at water stations placed throughout the park. The park supplies laundry facilities and warm shower stalls. Restrooms with flush toilets are provided as is a dump station. The RV camping area is on the south side of the lake. The park has a built-in boat ramp next to the RV campsite and a 200-foot swimming beach off to the side. Picnic tables and fire rings grace each campsite. Other picnic tables are placed in areas of scenic value.

Spring Valley Campground

Spring Valley Campground sits 24 miles north of Wolf Run State Park Campground, in Cambridge, OH. The park offers 139 RV campsites with water and electric hookups. Sewer hookups are included on 103 of the sites. This 89-acre campground provides sites that are spacious and clean. At this campground, 100-foot rigs are welcome to use the pull-through sites while back-in sites are limited to 36-foot rigs. Restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers, and campsite-wide Wi-Fi service are additional amenities at this park. Three and-a-half-acre Spring Valley Lake is available for fishing and swimming. Trails that run up and down the rolling hills that make up the park invite both a relaxing walk and an aggressive hike.

Seneca Lake Park

Eighteen miles north of Wolf Run State Park sits Seneca Lake Park. Seneca Lake offers 167 RV campsites. Of those sites, 126 provide water and electricity, and 41 offer full hookups. For those sites without sewer hookups, the campground provides a dump station. Ten of the campsites are pull-throughs; the rest are all back-in sites. The pull-through sites have room for rigs up to 45 feet while the back-ins allow rigs up to 50 feet in length. All of the RV campsites accommodate rigs up to 20 feet in width. Restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers, and laundry facilities are available for all campers. Swimming and fishing on beautiful Seneca Lake are among the favorite pastimes enjoyed by park visitors. There is a playground on site for kids to work out their energy. A boat ramp makes access to Seneca Lake easy, and a marina allows you to tie your craft in a safe environment. For those who do not own a boat, a boat rental concessionaire is available at the camp store.

Inside Wolf Run State Park

With a serene background, visitors to Wolf Run State Park find an array of activities. The 220-acre lake provides a year-round dose of fishing action with ice-fishing during the winter months, and many anglers bring their boats or rent boats at the camp store; however, boats are limited to the use of a 10-horsepower motor or less. Kayaks, canoes, and paddle rafts are often seen plying the edges of the lake. Six miles of hiking trails move up and down the rugged hills and around the lake including the Buckeye Trail that links several state parks in the area. A half-mile trail, specifically built to explore the unique natural habitat protected by the park system, begins at the camp store and loops back to the RV campground.

How to Get to
Wolf Run State Park

Wolf Run State Park is easily approached from the north via Cambridge or from the south by Caldwell. To approach the park from Caldwell, take Ohio Highway 821 North (OH-821 N) for 3 miles. Turn right onto Ohio Highway 215 East (OH-215 E) and drive for 1 mile. Turn left onto Wolf Run Drive, which takes you directly to the park's entrance.

To get to Wolf Run State Park from Cambridge, get onto Interstate 77 South (I-77 S) via Ninth Street and Wheeling Avenue. Follow I-77 S to Noble Township. Take Exit 28 onto OH-821 S until you reach OH-215 E. Turn left onto OH-215 E and drive for 1 mile. Turn left onto Wolf Run Drive to enter the park.
