Inside Eisenhower State Park
Many national fishing tournaments are held annually on Lake Texoma, and you can launch your boat into the lake from an Eisenhower State Park campground. A series of trails are open for biking and ATVing. The pavilion is a popular place to host family reunions. Rent canoes, kayaks and pontoon boats from a vendor in the park.

How to Get to
Eisenhower State Park
If you are coming to this park from Dallas, then take U.S. Highway 75 North to exit 72. Get on Texas Highway 91 North and turn left on FM 84 West. Turn right on Lil Old Road, which becomes Eisenhower Road. Turn left on Park Road 20.
You can also take Interstate 635, which is also called the Dallas North Tollway, and get off on Texas 289 North. Continue north about 70 miles until you get to FM 406. Turn right on it and turn left on FM 84 North. Turn right on Eisenhower Road. Finally, turn left on Park Road 20.
To reach Eisenhower State Park from Gainesville, where you can get off Interstate 35, take U.S. Highway 82. Turn right on Texas 289 North and then right on FM 406. Turn left on FM 84 North. Turn right onto Eisenhower Road and left on Park Road 20.
Entering Eisenhower State Park
The entrance fee does not apply to those under 12. For day use, the park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
