Clear Stream Campground

On the banks of Clear Stream, you will find this campground. If you love to drive an ATV, this park has direct access to the "Ride the Wilds" ATV trail system. At this location, there are over 22 sites, including those with water and electric hookups. For your comfort, you can stay healthy and clean at the bathhouse. Clear Stream Campground does offer seasonal rates. If you are looking to book a spot, the rates will vary depending on the location. You can expect to pay anywhere from $30 to $40.

Log Haven Campground

In the Great North Woods, you can enjoy the natural beauty at the Log Haven Campground. This campground offers both shaded and open sites. New Hampshire is known for its ATV paths, and Log Haven has direct access to several trails. You can travel on these trails during the summer and winter. Reservations are not required as they welcome those "drop-in" visitors. If you plan to visit several times a year, Log Haven offers seasonal rates. You can select water and electric hookups for $30 per night, or there are also full-hookup spaces for $35.

Mollidgewock State Park

Inside Mollidgewock State Park

Mollidgewock State Park is a 46-acre wooded wonderland near the town of Errol, New Hampshire. Since it is near the Thirteen Mile Woods Scenic Area, you are treated to a wide variety of scenic wonders. Many visitors come to this state park to fish in the cool waters or boat on the lake. There are even several trails that will take you through the park. For those expert or novice paddlers, the Androscoggin River is the perfect place to kayak or canoe. If you love to view the local wildlife, this park is a favorite spot to catch moose roaming through the valley.

Outside Mollidgewock State Park

Mollidgewock State Park is just outside the town of Errol. In this town, you can enjoy a delicious dinner or visit the local attractions. There are a few places to stock up the rig for your vacation. Wherever you choose to visit, there is plenty of fun throughout Errol and the surrounding communities.

If you want to enjoy a home-cooked meal in Errol, you definitely want to make a stop at the Trading Post Restaurant. This location is a great place for a filling entrée. The menu consists of seafood, chicken, steak, and stir-fry items. If you want to start with an appetizer, make sure to order the baked stuffed mushrooms or vegetarian spring rolls.

Northern Forest Canoe Trail

This 740-mile canoeing trail covers the northeastern part of the United States and Canada. The Northern Forest Canoe Trail follows the same waterways as those traveled by early American settlers. You can travel a portion of the trail and see some of the natural beauty of New Hampshire.

This wilderness lake is located in Coos County, and it is just outside of Errol. Umbagog Lake contains one of the most pristine lakes in the state. If you want to boat or camp out, this is a great spot to help you retreat into nature.

This state park covers over 127 acres in Dixville Township. While you are there, you can see waterfalls and scenic gorges. If you want a closer look, hiking trails lead to the summits of the mountains.

How to Get to
Mollidgewock State Park

If you are traveling from I-93, you need to take exit 36 onto Route 3. From there, follow Route 3 to Route 16. Once you are on Route 16, you need to stay on the road for several miles. For those travelers on I-95, take Route 16 to Route 26. Follow the signs to Mollidgewock State Park.

Entering Mollidgewock State Park

Mollidgewock State Park is open year-round, day and night. In the offseason, comfort and ranger stations may be closed.
