How to Get to
Wai'anapanapa State Park
From ‘Ohe‘O Gulch (39 minutes):
Head northeast on HI-360 for 12.4 miles and turn right onto Honokalani Road/Wai'anapanapa Road. Keep going for 0.5 miles and continue toward Wai'anapanapa State Park. Your destination will be on the left.
From Haleakalā National Park (40 minutes):
First, head northeast on HI-360 toward Pīpīwai Trail for 12.7 miles. Then, turn right onto Honokalani Road/Wai'anapanapa Road and go on for 0.5 miles. Look to your left to see the entrance to Wai'anapanapa State Park.
From Kahului Airport (1 hour, 48 minutes):
Head southwest on Lanui Circle toward Airport Road. In 0.3 miles, there will be a slight right onto Airport Road. In 0.6 miles, use the left two lanes to turn left onto State Hwy 36. Continue for 15.1 miles and take HI-360 for 31.9 miles. Turn left onto Honokalani Road/Wai'anapanapa Road. In 0.5 miles, the park will be on your left.
