Maricopa, Arizona is a sprawling city located in the Gila River Valley in Pinal County. Throughout its history, the city has had three separate locations: Maricopa Wells, Maricopaville, and Maricopa Junction. Eventually, Maricopa Junction became known as only Maricopa.
