Explore Riverview, Florida in an RVshare RV Rental

Riverview is an unincorporated city located in southeast Hillsborough County Florida. The latest census reports that the area is home to over 107,396 people. The Alafia River flows through the northern half of the city. The area is home to the 477-acre Bell Creek Nature Preserve, the 80-acre Alafia Scrub Nature Preserve, and the 60-acre Myron and Helen Gibbons Nature Preserve. The city is roughly 40 miles from Florida's Gulf Coast

The first known settler of Riverview was a man named Benjamin Moody. Moody and his family established a home on the south side of the Alafia River. The area is home to one of Florida's biggest antenna farms. Most of Tampa Bay's radio and television stations send their feeds from Riverview's broadcast station. The area is also home to the International Independent Showmen's Museum, a space dedicated to America's traveling carnivals.
