I rented the 2004 StarCraft M-1707 trailer to provide extra sleeping space for our family reunion. We parked it in the backyard and mainly used the space for sleeping as well as the grill (thank goodness it had one, ours broke!). The camper is clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive to all my inquiries and flexible to meet my schedule. He even drove nearly 2 hours to drop it off and pick it up, plus completed the set up and tear down for us!

Response from Ya

It was a pleasure meeting with your dad and your brother.I think they also play a big role in the set up.You guys were great!
Thank you for booking with us!

My kids and I had a great time with this clean, comfortable camper. It was perfect for our family of four.

Response from Ya

Im very happy that you could enjoy a different experience than a tent .I never get tired of putting it up and down myself which will definitely built some memories for the kids.
Thank you for sharing your experience!

Jean-Emmanuel was great to work with. This was a very unusual rental but he was extremely helpful in working with me to get the camper dropped off and setup, making sure we had everything we needed on our end and being flexible with our schedule.

Response from Ya

Mark has a great sense of follow up and It was a real pleasure doing business with him.

This is listed as sleeping 6 people. I'm not quite sure how starcraft or the owner was counting. There is one queen sized bed that opens out on one side. There is a twin bed that opens on the other side and one more twin bed that can be converted from the dining area. If you don't want to convert the dining table every night then this is a 3 person(adult) pop up. This was not a great layout for me. The dining table was in the way and we moved it up against one of the seating areas so we could move around the table. I could never get the refrigerator to work. I own a pop up in another state and know that they can be tricky with lighting the LP gas. Once you do get it lighted though the gas works great. Unfortunately for me, the gas never lit and we bought ice to keep our food cool. The owner is a very nice person, but communication was not always clear and we had some problems. There were two batteries included with the trailer which actually didn't help with the refrigerator and when we first arrived at our campsite we had to remove the batteries from the hitch area to actually open up the trailer. I consider moving the batteries and dealing with the uncooperative strap holding the batteries upon arrival a real inconvenience and blow to our setting up the tent. The owner did remedy the battery problem after I had arrived. Unfortunately, both batteries were stolen while I left the trailer overnight at the camp ground in between two different camp sites. The insurance that you are required to buy from rvshare does NOT take care of that kind of thing. The insurance is for roadside emergencies. If you are interested in renting this trailer I would be very clear about everything to avoid any possible misunderstandings. I would ask for compensation if you can't use the LP gas to use the refrigerator unless there is AC available. I stayed at a primitive camp site that did not have AC.

Response from Ya

Sorry to hear. The actual beds came with camper from manufacturer. In the future i would recommend you go to NADA GUIDE for size and measurements which is the best resource for owners.Refrigerator does work on 12V which drain the battery quicker. On propane when pilot doesnt work a lighter can be used as shown on video sent to you.During long trip batteries can move on trailer and when stop safety check should be done.Hope you learn from this experience and enjoy more on your next camping trip.

Very accommodating
