This was our first time renting an RV as a family. If you want to experience a brand new RV, then buy one! 'Bugsy' is 8 years old and has had a lot of low mileage usage. We picked it up with less than 34,000 miles and put another 3,200 on it over the week. Mileage ranged from 5-8 mpg depending on how hard you push the Triton V10 gas engine. This would be a great RV for tailgating. Plan on bringing a tent along if you have more than 3 guests for sleeping, however. Everything mechanical works but remember it's 8 years old. Overall, I would recommend this if you are planning on using it locally (less than 100 miles/day) and are a group of 3 or less if you want to sleep in it. It's a good value!
Semi-retired and full time RV'er, with seasonal site in Boulder Junction, WI. which is where I work during the summer months. Can set this rig up for you here after you reserve a site if you like, and I will adjust the rate accordingly. Winter's we usually use the Winnebago to travel around the United States. Since we have a fifth wheel for lodging, I would prefer to have the motorhome used rather than sit in storage from May till October.
