Norm was very accommodating for a short-term rental, as well as flexible for pickup and drop off times.
Norm was great to work with had a problem the generator as soon as we arrived to the campsite Norman had someone there and fixed within an hour. Great camper and owner to use.
This was our first time renting an RV. We had such a great experience. The owner was very helpful and gave me a good overview of how to use the RV. We arranged for him to drop off and pick up the RV and that was extremely helpful for us. The RV is comfortable, and while not the nicest RV out there, it was perfect for our needs. We had 6 people (3 adults and 3 kids) sleeping in the RV and everyone had enough space. I would rent this RV again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Oldie But Goodie. It is well-maintained, and the owner provided us all the information and instructions we needed. And everything worked perfectly! It handles great on the road. I noticed it has new tires, which was reassuring. It is the perfect size and was very comfortable for my wife and me. The owner was a great host!
The RV is definitely old. The cabin door stuck so bad sometimes it wouldn't open, causing us to have to enter through the car door! The RV generator and air conditioning was in poor condition. It kept turning itself off. The owner came out the next day and added another generator. However the breaker kept tripping causing the ac to turn off. We decided to cut our trip short due to unlivable conditions. I am waiting on a refund for the last day.
Working with Norman was great. He was responsive to all our questions, of which there were many, and he shared his expertise with us. He quickly addressed a few minor problems we had and we were very satisfied. We asked to pick up the RV a day early and he accommodated the request. We appreciated the price of his RV and the fact that it's a 2005 (older model) was built into the price. We set our expectations accordingly because we knew we were renting a 12-year old vehicle (normal wear-and-tear on the interior as expected with an older vehicle.) Because the engine had less than 40k miles on it, it drove very well. Norman works hard to make sure your vacation is enhanced by renting his RV. If you have questions, he will do his best to answer them. If you've never rented an RV before, be sure to read FAQs on the internet to understand what to expect: RVs ride a bit rougher than sedans and the showers are small. Be sure to understand exactly how the generator, stove and refrigerator work and prepare yourself for driving a long vehicle (wide turns, leave room for stopping, etc.) Educating yourself on RVing will make your experience better.
owner showed up with stuff loaded and not very clean , did not go over existing damage and does not respond ever on time. was not there @ time of drop off and later on few days reported damage to vehicle , where he was not @ station @ time of drop off. seems a stretch
