I bought the motorhome when it was new back in 2007. My intention at the time was to retire at 65 (in 2010) and hit the road pretty much full time, to experience the beauty and majesty of our great country. But then the 2008 financial crisis had a big impact on the homebuilding industry (for which I specialized in market research), and the result for my own personal situation was devastating. My business failed, I ended up going through a divorce and have developed some health issues. Long story short, I have had to significantly scale back my 2007 vision of exploring the country full time to a 2016 reality of occasional short term camping vacations with family and friends. I'm now 70 and (finally) retired, but am on a fixed income (social security and a VA disability) and have moved in with my son in Houston in order to reduce expenses. In the meantime, the motorhome has hardly been utilized. It is a good rig, and it would be a crime not to put it to at least some use!
