Hemingway Home

Famous author, Ernest Hemingway, lived at 907 Whitehead Street in Key West from 1931 until 1940. Originally built in 1851, Ernest and his Wife Pauline restored the old house into the beauty it is today. The house is open to the public 365 days a year. Don’t forget to look for the famous penny in the swimming pool! 

Jungle Queen Riverboat

Docked at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale, the Jungle Queen Riverboat is an old paddle wheel steamer that can hold up to 550 passengers. It leaves daily for 3-hour cruises of the coastline. Knowledgeable captains will point out interesting and historic places along the local rivers and canals.

Coral Castle

Coral Castle is a tragic love story. Ed Leedskalnin was left at the altar in Latvia and later, heartbroken, moved to Southeast Florida in 1918. Ed decided to create a lasting monument to Agnes, his true love. He hand-carved and sculpted over 1100 tons of coral rock to create Coral Castle.
