The Red River is the jewel of Louisiana, so it’d be a shame not to witness its beauty first-hand on the famous Spirit of the Red River Cruise. The cruise holds up to 35 passengers and takes you along the scenic river, while teaching you about the area's history. You’ll also spot plenty of wildlife along the river banks, including alligators, blue herons, white egret, seagulls, turtles, and snakes.

The cruise departs directly across from the Sci-Port Discovery Center, located in Shreveport, and the tour runs for one hour.
