The Walt Disney World Resort is an entertainment complex in Bay Lake, Florida and is the flagship of Disney’s worldwide theme park empire. Magic Kingdom Park, commonly known as Magic Kingdom, it the first built of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World. It is the most visited theme park in the world and has been for the last five consecutive years. The most famous feature of the park is Cinderella Castle, a giant replica of the fairy tale castle from the film. While you’re here you can enjoy amusement rides, games and contests, little ones can interact with famous Disney characters, eat at several different restaurants or concessions stands, shop at numerous stores for authentic souvenirs, and catch the 12-minute fireworks spectacular that is truly astounding. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the fourth of four theme parks built at Walt Disney. It opened on Earth Day, April 22, 1998 and is now the second largest theme park in the world, behind Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. The parks most famous feature is the Tree of Life, a sculpted 145-foot-tall, 50-foot-wide artificial tree. The park is divided into seven different themed areas that represent animals from different parts of the world: Oasis, Discovery Island, Africa, Refiki’s Planet Watch, Asia, DinoLand U.S.A., and Pandora: The Land of Avatar.
