This is a great unit that has been well maintained. I would absolutely rent this RPOD again. They are easy to tow, and have all the amenities anyone could need. The RPOD are also a much nicer rig than other comparable trailers.
Karl was very pleasant to work with and made the whole experience that much better. Great communication. The only issue was I forgot to drop off the keys with trailer and even then he was very understanding and wasn't any issues. The trailer worked great and our family had a wonderful time.
Overall, the RV worked well for us for a weekend camping outing. All of the equipment was in working order, but the RV had not been cleaned--sinks and floors were dirty, and we found old, moldy food in the back of one cupboard. The rental paperwork indicated that we would need to turn in the rental by 9 am of the day we were returning the RV, but the night before, we got a text telling us to turn it in by 11 pm the next day. Too late to change our plans. Pick-up, drop-off and the overall rental experience was relatively easy and hassle-free. If it had been cleaned properly, my rating would be higher.
Could not have been a better experience. Made a week long trip around the North Cascades and to San Juan Island. Walter Westy performed flawlessly and was the perfect size for the two of us (3 or 4 persons would not be a problem). The Westfalia Sprinter is a unique vehicle with every convenience packed efficiently into a compact space. It is small enough to be driven around town and easily parked into any regular spot. I would definitely recommend Walter Westy to any friends visiting the area.
Overall Austin and his wife are very easy to work with (return times, pickup etc) and the rv is very new and in great shape.will be renting again for sure.
Couldn't have been a better experience with my first RV Share. Owner went above and beyond to make it great for us and the motorhome is very nice.
Great to work with and very flexible in my pick-up and drop-off times. We took this to the Gorge and was exactly what we needed. Not the fanciest RV, but just what we needed for our group to sleep in and have some simple amenities for the weekend.
Jason & Melissa were fantastic to deal with - they explained everything in detail before our trip, showed us everything we needed to know about the RV as well as providing a booklet filled with tips on places to stay, campfire recipes, you name it. The RV itself was perfect, never had a hiccup with it. Everything that you could possibly need was provided and then some. It made for a wonderful home on wheels while we toured the national parks. It's bright and roomy inside and the beds are super comfy. I'd totally recommend renting from Jason and Melissa, they're fantastic to rent from and think of everything down to the last detail that you may need or want on board.
Brandon was an amazing person to rent from. Very understanding and always answered my questions within a very fast time. Even though I have towed many trailers and campers in my time he still sat with me and went through how to properly set up and tear down his trailer.
Daniel was an excellent host of his trailer. I felt very knowledgeable about the Trailer before leaving with it and he was available for any questions.
It was great to experience the RV world at half the cost of other companies can offer! Plus the owner showed me everything I needed to know about how to use the RV to the fullest! It’s a hotel on wheels! We are really happy with the experience! Thanks George!
The pictures don't do it justice. It is SO nice on the inside and there was SO much room for us. Rita was awesome to work with and responded to every text and email so quickly. We would rent from them again in the future just based on the customer service they gave alone! We had the best little weekend getaway and can't wait to do it again! The trailer rode super smoothly and was easy to hook up to the car hitch. Thanks Rita!
We rented this for a long weekend with 6 people total. Had an excellent time. This RV is very well kept and in great shape. Drives really nice and easy with the upgrades added by the owner. Owners are very friendly and flexible with the pick up/drop off times.
Owners are very easy to work with from pick up to drop off, great experience for our first RV trip!
WOW from start to finish fantastic. John and his daughter were great, they delivered it expanded everything and the pick up was the same. If your looking forward to a great motorhome for a family trip this is the one to pick. I will be renting from John again. I can't thank you enough......
This needs fit our needs perfectly for our trip. We were 5 adults and one dog, traveling for 5 days around Vancouver island. This is an older rv, so not everything is in perfect shape, but all the important functions that make for a good rv trip were there and in good working order. We did experiance one mechinical setback, which delayed our trip a little, but these are sometimes hard to avoid. It happens. the owner was very responsive and let us take it for repairs. I was reimbursed quickly for the expense. The mehnical failure was the only reason I took off a star from the review. Overall, we had a wonderful and unforgettable trip.
Jon made the whole experience very easy, the trailer was well supplied all this made for great trip.
The total experience could not have been better. The owners were super helpful and so nice to deal with. There were zero surprises and the weekend was amazing. Rosie is a great way to go. The perfect fir for us.Thank you for being so helpful, flexible and communicative. We will be back!
Excellent rental experience. The Solera is a nice sized vehicle that was easy to drive and well equipped for an outing. It was in great condition and was perfect for my trip north. The owner was very good to work with and keeps the RV in good working condition.
John was great to work with! This was our first time renting a class A motorhome and we were in constant communication with John through the entire experience. John was always there to answer the phone or text when we had questions. He even gave me a driving lesson before we set off. The rig was clean and comfortable and not too bad to maneuver once I had some practice. Setting up at the campgrounds was a breeze. By day three we had it down to five minutes from final parking to first cocktail. That includes leveling, slide-outs and service hookups.
I selected this RV because inexpensive trailers with lots of space for guests are difficult to find, and I needed backup guest space for a house party. The incredibly nice owner was a bonus I didn't especially select for, but am very glad I found, because things fell apart in my family life during the period leading up to the rental. John was super flexible about when and how we got things done, leaving me to focus mostly on the other problem I needed to tackle. He made everything go smoothly with the rental even though I couldn't give it my full attention, and I am very grateful. The trailer itself was exactly as advertised. It's not frilly or fancy, but it has a serviceable kitchen and bathroom, a good-sized dinette, a comfortable sofa (which folds out into another full bed), and best of all for us, a queen master bedroom AND two single bunks. Bunkhouse trailers are hard to find and usually expensive when you do; this one was priced at a good value. The only real drawbacks are those you'll find in most RVs: the beds are on the short side, as is the ceiling height, so if you are especially tall beware. But we put a 6'2" guest on the lower single bunk, and although it was a close fit, she did okay. The mattresses are also pretty thin, but again, that's something you'll find in almost every RV. The bottom line is that the trailer is a no-frills, decent, comfortable place to stay at a bargain price, and with the best owner it's been my pleasure to work with. If you're looking for a trailer that will fit a family, and you want an easy, pleasant rental experience and a good price, get this one -- you'll be glad you did.
What a great alternative to renting rooms and eating out every night as we circled the Olympic Peninsula! We wanted to explore Port Townsend in a little more detail than the other towns on the Peninsula, and this fit our plan perfectly.
We had a great experience renting Alvin's RV. The whole process was very smooth and the vehicle was in a great condition. We're already planning to rent Alvin's RV again this summer! I highly recommend it!
Owner was super helpful! Gave accurate directions and was reachable via text for all questions. RV was great for 4 adults and 4 kids. Ample space, clean, and accurately described.
Fantastic RV for family of 4. Owners great, RV was nicely sized and had many amenities that made for a great vacation.
This little trailer was so much fun! The trailer is very light(1/2 ton or so) We towed it with a Mazda 3 and had no problems. The kitchen in the back was great. The process of reserving and pickup & drop off was very easy. Thank you guys so much!
We were the first ones to rent this little gem of a trailer in 2016! It was excellent and the owners were super easy to work with!
This was our first RV experience and it couldn’t have been better! Sarah and Kristi made it easy with clear and timely communications and thorough instructions. The RV was spotless and in excellent condition. It was well stocked with supplies. Sarah and Kristi were gracious to work with and we would highly recommend them to anyone interested in renting an RV.
