We very much enjoyed our rental experience and liked the idea of renting from a private party. I was able to choose a rental close to where I live which helped a great deal with pick-up and return. I felt that all processes went well and was kept well informed at appropriate times.

We rented the RV for the weekend and it was great! The RV was very clean, everything was in working order, and pick up and drop off was very smooth. The owners were very helpful and ready to help in the event their were any questions or issues during our trip, of which we had none.

We couldn't have asked for a better first experience renting from RV Share. Alvin and Patti, the owners, were quick with communication and supportive with our newbie questions. We feel like we were spoiled with this experience... the rv was exactly as advertised, so clean, well equipped, and the owners wanted us to enjoy it as much as they do! Highly recommend. There were six of us traveling, ages 18-49, it was perfect! For sleeping 3 of us used the bedroom and bed above the driver and passenger seat, the other 3 slept in a tent. We appreciated not taking the table apart to make into a bed each night.

Sarah was great to rent from and communication was top notch! The RV itself was a total pleasure to drive. I have driven other RVs before and the Mercedes Sprinter provided the most "non-RV" experience of them all, very much like my SUV. We had a great time, thanks Sarah!

Review:

Scott was easy to access for communication and quickly answered all of my questions. This was the first time renting an RV so I was very nervous. Scott did a thorough check out and driving test so I was comfortable driving a 30' RV and all that entails. We were taking it over the pass and normally I've seen RV's just go super slow. This RV does not lack power to go up steep hills like that. The basics were there (plates, pots/pans, cups, knives, forks, spoons, garbage can, etc). and some salt/pepper. Don't expect it to be fully outfitted with every cooking element but if you go through and see what's there, you'll find you don't need a whole lot. I would recommend that if you are traveling to a hot weather location, that you bring an extra cooler to store food that you normally wouldn't refrigrate. We were in 90+ degree weather and the things like muffins, bread, etc. got moldy since when you aren't in the rig and turn of the A/C it gets very hot and the plastic wrap gets humid and causes mold. Not at all a problem and not issue with Scott at all but a note for myself and others in the future. Everything was in working order and was easy to remember to use. Plan for about an hour for the check-out and driving (longer if you aren't comfortable driving a big rig like this RV). He was also super easy when doing the drop off. The location to pick up and drop off has easy access.

2005 Mercedes Sprinter Westfalia

Review:

Overall, our experience with Walter Westy's owners, Roya and Patrick, was fabulous. Roya was quick to respond to our initial inquiry and very flexible in allowing us to schedule a walk-through of the van, which allowed my wife and I the time we needed to make a final rental decision. It's been a dream of ours to travel in a Sprinter van. Renting their Sprinter Westfalia couldn't have been a better way to test that dream out! Their communication with us throughout the entire process was above and beyond my expectations, which was very comforting. We took a long weekend trip to central Washington and had an amazing time. Apparently, some previous renters ignored specific instructions and were harder on the van than they should have been, which caused some minor inconveniences. However, Patrick and Roya worked very hard to ensure we had working solutions to minimize what the previous renters had done, ensuring we had everything we needed to have a wonderful time; something we very much appreciated. This Sprinter camps and drives like a champ. Just remember it's a 2005 and Walter needs to be treated with care and love, which he'll gladly return to you in the form of an amazing journey wherever you may be going! Patrick and Roya were great to work with and I'm certain they'll work just as hard to ensure you have a wonderful overall experience and journey with Walter Westy!

2008 Fleetwood Tioga
$175
Review:

We had a great experience renting this 2008 Tioga. This was our 4th multi-week RV rental but the first time with a private owner (prior trips all booked through Cruise America). George and Caitrin have taken great care of their RV and, despite it being 10 years old, the rig worked well for us. The amenities were so much better than what we’ve rented before – more comfortable seating and bedding, and tons of extra room afforded by the slide-outs. It also has a very useful back-up camera. The Tioga drives well, too. It has enough power to easily maintain highway speeds and tackles mountain passes fairly well. As for communication with the owner, George was prompt and courteous with his replies – overall a solid rental experience.

Sarah was a pleasure to work with and the RV, Wanda, was great! My dogs and I had an awesome camping trip with Wanda! This was my first time in an RV and I didn't know anything about the various electrical sources, use of the tanks, etc. Sarah went through everything with me and since Wanda is a newer RV, monitoring tank/water status, power sources, etc is on an easy to use touch screen! Plus the RV is well stocked with kitchen and camping supplies which made packing a breeze. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the AC works great! We were camping over a HOT weekend and stayed nice and comfortable. Sarah was helpful, quick to respond to questions, and overall was a delight to work with. I'd rent Wanda again in a heartbeat!!

2008 Winnebago Vista 32K

Review:

Good experience working with owners - very straight-forward and friendly. Quick to respond to questions. Our main issue with the RV is its age and lack of features that newer models have - like flat screen tvs and inputs/chargers for mobile devices, integrated speakers - not a big deal. We had to book at the last minute due to our other rental falling through, so this worked out fine. Drives very easy for its size and very easy to park at our spot and level. AC's worked well. Canopy was easy to operate. Hookup and dumping was easy. Showing its age on the outside, but mechanically everything was fine (except the AC fan while driving only worked on full - easy fix and the owner will probably take care of quickly). A little expensive (like all class A's) and the pickup location was not ideal for us, but we would recommend.

We took the trailer on a long trip to my wife's family reunion and combined some sight seeing. Everything worked exactly as Micah told me it would. The trailer is really great - spotless and the linens provided were excellent. Micah was very helpful throughout the process (pre and during rental) which is what really made the experience great. I look forward to renting it again from him.
