I really cannot overstate how great Larry and Debbie are to rent from. We had left something in their motorhome (which is a very nice diesel pusher) and they shipped that item to us. We liked them so much we made them promise to visit us next time they were out in our area. Details about rental were all great and the coach was outfitted fully with towels, linens, coffee pot, dishes etc. We will most certainly rent from them again if we need an RV in the Richmond VA area.

Review:

I rented the RV over a three-week period for a cross-country trip across the US. The pickup experience was smooth. The owner run me through the functionalities and amenities of the car. As a 2012 model, don't expect the latest technology. The RV was rented with kitchenware (pots, plates, cutlery, etc.), linen, and ... a decent selection of kids-friendly and adults DVDs - at no additional cost. Having a unlimited mileage including in the rental price is a big advantage; helps keep control of the budget. During the trip, the owner was was responsive and collaborative. Do you need bike racks, USB plugs, flashlight? Just let the owner know, he will do his best. Overall good experience, dependable vehicle, collaborative owner. The main downside was the absence of toilets in the RV - the black tank had been taken away for repairs. I would recommend.

When you rent with Kelly, you'll have a full assistance. One who cares. I rented his RV from abroad with pick-up at Kennedy airport. Kelly was able to handle all our needs. If any issue comes out you can always count on Kelly. He was always available. A gentleman.

We were all first-time RV renters and Mike was extremely thorough, professional, and friendly with instructions on how to safely use it and enjoy it. Beautiful vehicle, very clean, spacious, and well-furnished. Mike is a great guy and does everything he can to make you have a flawless, enjoyable stay. He is extremely available via call and text for any issues whatsoever. . We had an unfortunate incident where some of the vinyl flooring tore, and he was extremely understanding and professional in coordinating reimbursement for the damage. Just an all around fantastic experience for a group of first-timers and we couldn’t recommend Mike enough! Thanks for playing a role in our unforgettable weekend. -Dane and the guys

I regret the delay in singing George's praises for enhancing our Labor Day Glamp Out. In addition to George's responsiveness, flexibility, and unblemished patience, the RV itself was everything advertised. In particular, the A/C was ICE COLD. We slept very well in the late summer humidity. I plan to call on George again next year.

Erin was great to work with! She met me a few weeks in advance for a walk through of the RV and was very flexible with pick up and drop off. My friends and family were very impressed with our "Big Rig" for the weekend. Our small dogs loved it and it easily accommodated 5 adults and 3 small doggies. We'll rent from her again. We Are!!!

2018 FR3 by Forest River

Review:

The good: Kelly was fantastic with the pick-up process; going over practically every inch of the RV thoroughly so that we were comfortable and understood how everything worked. The RV was very clean and drove well. The not so good: Pre-pickup communication was a little spotty -- for the most part, it was good but we didn't get a response to one of our emails asking if we could tow our car so we didn't plan for it but turns out, we could have and it would have improved our overall vacation experience tremendously. The RV itself was very lived in -- there was cosmetic wear and tear including some holes in walls and a missing privacy screen/door to the bedroom. The cosmetic stuff wasn't a huge deal but we didn't know about the missing door until our first night and we were looking for the door to give my husband and I some privacy from my mom. Overall, it was a positive experience and would be great rental for people with pets and/or kids.

Had an amazing trip in this little trailer! From the start Eric, the owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. He helped verify our SUV would tow the trailer going the extra mile to verify information with the manufacturer. Picking up the trailer was a breeze, even though this trailer is super simple and easy to use Eric took time to go over everything. He even had laminated check lists and instructions that were clear and easy for us to refer to. All keys were nicely labeled and everything was very well organized. You can tell the owner is an organized person who really wants you to have a great trip. The trailer was well stocked with all the towing items you need from hitch locks to wheel chalks. There were also extra essential items like paper towels, trash bags and kitchen sponge. Additionally there were plenty of emergency items, basic tools, first aid kit, tape, fire extinguisher smoke and carbon monoxide detector- we didn't need any of them but great to know that they were there. The trailer itself was spotless- everything was sparking clean from the sheets to the outside and you can tell the trailer is brand new. This trailer is perfect for an adventurous outdoor couple or (like us) a small family not wanting to drag a huge cumbersome trailer but also wanting some creature comforts like, A/C and heat, a kitchen and a very comfy bed just to name a few. And boy we were happy to have the trailer when we arrived at the site on the first day during a terrible rain storm! Don't be intimidated by this rugged little trailer but also don't overlook it. Our family midsize SUV towed it no problem and it has all the amenities you need to have a great trip. We will certainly be renting from Eric again the only question is where will we take it next - Assateague Island perhaps!

Outstanding camper, it's perfect for a weekend or extended weekend of camping. Will fit 2 adults comfortably, easy to set up and a joy to use. The owner is professional, respectful, and very helpful. He and Melanie took the time to go over every detail and properly train on the use and care of the camper as well as a diving tutorial. They made it an awesome experience, you will need a 7 blade connector dont forget! I would absolutely recommend this camper to anyone and rent it myself again.

Review:

Terrible Choice for First-Time RV'ers. The owners are kind and the vehicle drives fine and is as-advertised. Could be a little cleaner (tons of grime on floors and red-clay clearly left from previous users on entrance stairs) but that's the breaks with a rental. But there was some major communication breakdowns for us as first-time users, with the water tank not being filled despite clear communication at check-in that we would be dry-camping the entire weekend, a term we were unfamiliar with and thus had no sense how far the 1/3 tank of fresh water would go. More importantly, the house-battery was completely uncharged (Owner said "these gauges are always wrong" when it showed up on "E" at check-in) so we had to run the generator to even keep the fridge and lights working. Then the owner made no concessions and charged against our deposit for over-using the generator. Overall, one of the worst rental experiences we have encountered and other new folks should consider commercial rentals that are more turn-key-ready or much more thorough vetting of owners and explanations if you go the RVShare route. If something feels weird in the communications process prior to booking, it probably is.

This was our first time using an RV and Scott helped to make the entire the experience amazing from start to finish.
