This is the best deal around. He drives it where you want it. Sets it up. Explains everything, then you have your own wonderful place to stay waiting for you right where you choose to be. Then he picks it up and dumps it. You drive away. Like glamping in a 5 star hotel. Thanks for how easy you made everything. No one will want to miss this experience.

This was our first time renting an RV, so my family and I were not exactly sure what to expect. Kristina and Craig were very accommodating and easy to work. They made sure that we had everything we needed for a great trip and were even willing to offer advice on the best spots for our destination. Fantastic experience--would definitely rent from them again!!

Review:

We (a family of 3) had a great time with RV. We wanted to watch the eclipse and needed to be flexible in terms of location. Hence we decided to rent an RV. Since this was the first time, we did not quite know what to expect and were a little nervous. But David was great, responding quickly to our inquiries, and explaining everything in great detail during the initial pick up. And when during the trip a red warning light appeared and we did not know what to do, David calmed our nerves over the phone, and we resolved this issue quickly. The size of this RV is perfect for 3 and could easily accommodate 1 or 2 more persons. We used it mostly in RV parks, but also spend a couple of nights off the grid. Overall this was a great trip with a reasonably prized RV.

Cindee and Mike were incredibly accommodating, setting up the RV for us at our campground in Springdale. The RV is spacious and extremely clean, with every kitchen item we could have needed, along with comfortable bedding and plenty of towels. The heat system was easy to operate and we stayed perfectly warm on Utah’s cold January nights.

Review:

Terri and David are great to work with and their RV (affectionately named Joe Sherman) was clean, well-stocked, and in great working order. My family used their RV for an eight day Christmas trip up the California Coast. We loved our experience which was made possible through RV Share and Terri & David’s hospitality. We will cherish these life-long family memories. Terri communicated clearly and was very flexible and accommodating during the reservation and planning phase of our experience. Because we live in close proximity to the owners they invited us to come look at the RV and become familiar with it early in the process. Terri even had a nice Bon Voyage treat for my family as we departed. Although we are avid tent campers, this was our first time using any form of RV or camper. We had four camp sites reserved for this trip. Two with hook ups and two without. I was a bit nervous about understanding hook ups, dumping stations, tanks (fresh water, grey, black, propane, and gasoline), generator use, and driving a big rig. Before we picked up the RV for our trip David gave my wife and me a detailed orientation on every aspect of the RV. Little details like how to avoid pinching your fingers while closing the door helped keep our trip incident free. This orientation and my personal online preparation leading up to the trip, resolved my concerns and reduced my fears about doing something new like this. (YouTube is full of good advice and things to prepare for an RV vacation - even for first timers.) Even with all the preparation and explanations, David knew we would encounter some questions along our journey. He gave us his cell phone to contact him. On Christmas Eve, while preparing our special dinner, we had too many appliances operating at the same time and we tripped something. David had told us ahead of time several solutions for a scenario like that but none of those restored our power. We texted him and, even though it was a holiday, he responded immediately with the right solution to our problem. Within minutes we were back in business. My kids had fun forming a relationship with Joe Sherman (the pet name for the RV). There were eight of us on this trip - all fully grown. The bedding & towels were all provided and seemed brand new & plush. Some of us are germ-o-phobes but Joe Sherman and all amenities were so clean that we never had a thought about it. My wife and I, our married son and his wife, and our four single daughters all had comfortable sleeping accommodations. The kitchen is fully stocked and eating utensils, dish ware, spices, and appliances are provided. Camp chairs, kites, dutch ovens, games, puzzles, reading materials, and videos were all on board when we picked up Joe Sherman. With all these amenities you really do have with a vacation-on-wheels ready to go. (We had plenty of stowage space for our own clothes, games, food, and equipment. We even had room for a few Christmas presents, a small Christmas tree, and decorations.) Driving the RV was easier than driving a large Uhaul Truck. It has blind spot and back up cameras for safety. It handles the road very nicely. The motor was fantastic and we never worried about breaking down. (If we did breakdown though, RV Share provides 24 hour roadside assistance. That and the insurance policy never got used on our trip but provided excellent peace of mind. Terri & David told us about several mishaps other renters have had. They told us to be careful, but not to worry if something happens - it’s all fixable. And fix it they have. There was very little sign of the previous mishaps.) One can expect normal wear and tear on any RV: trim coming loose, paneling bowing, wall paper pealing, drawer & cabinet latches losing their grip, vents falling off, and a few nicks here or there. Joe Sherman has very little of this, AND David and Terri keep him in excellent order making maintenance & improvements an ongoing expectation and priority. We traveled more than 1600 miles during this trip and averaged just under 8 miles to the gallon. We used some weight saving tricks like keeping the fresh water tank on 1/3 filled while traveling, but the number of people we had in the RV and the mountainous terrain we were traversing consumed more gas than we expected. Tip: I should have planned more time for traveling. You won’t be traveling at regular freeway speeds, it takes three times longer to fill up at a gas station, alternate routes for larger vehicles may be necessary, and even parking an RV can be time consuming. Not feeling rushed - just taking it slow and steady - is important. Planning ahead where you’re going to find easy access to a gas station became part of our routine. The convenience of traveling with a bathroom, kitchen, game table, beds, and videos at our constant finger tips was SO nice. Setting up and striking each camp site took us a fraction of time compared to tent camping - it was so easy. Access to beautiful nature, scenery, and fresh air (even in the San Francisco area) while having the luxuries of a condominium with you the whole time was a favorite aspect of this trip for us. Sure it was close quarters! But that is what we wanted. We were able to spend a lot of time being close to each other. (And when we needed a break from each other we’d go back in the back bedroom for some alone time or go for a walk on the beach.) We are so grateful for David and Terri sharing their RV with our family. We will always remember with fondness our Christmas vacation of 2017.

The van was just what we needed for our recent trip to Sedona, AZ. I was a bit apprehensive that it would be a bit too small for two of us and our gear, but with the top popped it proved more than roomy for our desert camp. The added amenities in the van, like the chairs, table, blankets, etc, were great to have. With the solar panel on the roof providing a solid charge to the batteries, refrigeration and inside lighting was never an issue - nor was charging our phones and cameras in the many outlets. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again for an upcoming adventure here in Utah and beyond.

Review:

this was a great rig for 2 people who are ok with coziness. Matt was super easy to work with and very amenable to my schedule. the only reason I didn't 5 star the amenities is that it's a small rig so the amenities aren't as fat as they would be in a bigger vehicle, but that's expected and what this little van has is useful, efficient, and well thought out.

This RV was perfect for a week trip to Moab! TC was amazing to work with, and his RV felt like home. The process could not have been easier. TC delivered the RV to our campsite, and set it up for us. He made sure we knew how everything worked, and then came back to pick it up at the end of the week. So nice for us to travel to the parks in our own car! I will definitely rent this RV again, next time we are back. I highly recommend this experience!

My career is centered around giving customer's an incredible experience. Renting from Dick taught me more about what a 5 star experience looks like than any other company or person I have ever worked with. You won't find a better quality trailer for the price Dick gives. Add being treated like family and you will be so happy you went with Dick. I plan on renting that beautiful trailer again from him soon. Thanks for being so amazing, Dick! You went above and beyond so many times. What a good man.
