Review:

The Red Baron experience exceeded all expectations from beginning to end. Firstly, the booking process easy and quick, despite a few glitches when trying to sign de contract online at RVshare.com. The communication with the owners was prompt and professional. Brian and Melanie were very accommodating. And their friend John and Marianne who did the check out/in were super. The Red Baron was the envy of the campsite. This rig is fully adventure ready, whether that involves hiking, mountain biking, cycling, or kayaking…this rig can comfortably and securely haul those adult toys without any worries. It is not only dog-friendly but dog-proof based on the high-quality build of the Winnebago rig. Setting up and unhooking the rig at the campsite is a breeze, you can comfortably enjoy all household amenities within minutes of parking at the campsite. Want to boondock…no problem, the batteries and water carrying capacities can easily accommodate 2 adults for a few days once you have selected a suitable basecamp for your adventures. One of the most pleasant surprise was to discover the amazing fuel economy for such a big rig running down the road, you can expect 16-17 mpg, this is quite a feat for a rig of this size and capacity. All interior amenities worked as expected, from TV to bathroom and everything in between. Overall, this was an amazing experience and will certainly not be the last time we will get to enjoy the Red Baron. Thank you Brian and Melanie for sharing this RV with us!

We rented the Rv to stay at the local drag racing track for the weekend, the pick up location was only 10 miles from the track and that was very convenient. Trailer was exactly as stated in the ad. Mike and Virginia were great and easy to work with. We would definitely rent from them again if needed!

Oustanding! This was my first time renting an RV and it was a great experience all around. The 21' was easily manageable through windy mountain roads and national parks. While it was a little tight with 6 of us, it was totally manageable and fun. Brooke and Brett were both super friendly and helpful. The couple of times I texted with questions on the road I got a response almost immediately. Would definitely rent this RV again!

We rented this RV for a family reunion for our family of 4. The kids (6,3) loved the bunk beds. Owner was super nice and helpful. Pick up and drop off were a breeze. The camper was very easy to pull and operate. Had a radio with speakers inside and outside which was really nice as we spent 90% of our time outside.

Review:

My family just got done living in the Coachman for a 5,700 mile road trip to Canada and back from Austin. We learned a lot about the vehicle and Cornelius and both provided a good experience. Cornelius is very responsive and made the process easy. What follows are some pros and cons to the vehicle as well as some general thoughts and lessons learned. Cons: - It didn't end up with as good of fuel efficiency as was hoped. For the whole trip, we averaged about 9.5MPG - For some reason most fueling stations cause the automatic pump shutoff to trigger too easily when filling, which means you are stuck holding the pump (less than full speed) the entire time you are fueling. I only got lucky a few times where the pump allowed me to use the little props that keep the pump dispensing hands-free. - Cornelius didn't supply leveling blocks, so we ended up buying a set. Most camps we stayed at were just enough out of level that it would have been frustrating to not have them. - The tires needed air topped off on the trip. This would have been much of an issue, but the rear (dually tires) have the fill valve facing inward (without an extension), which makes it so that you have to have the chrome wheel cover removed in order to check/fill that tire. This meant trips to a tire store (even to check pressure) since it take a big tool to pull the cover. - The sound system is pretty sad. Two very tinny speakers in the doors of the driver/passenger seats. We brought along a large bluetooth speaker (powered by the vehicle inverter) and were very greatful we did. I probably would have bought one mid-trip if I didn't start with it. Pros: - It was super easy and comfortable to drive - even for longer hauls. - The systems all worked great. - It handled mountain passes with ease. - You can park it almost anywhere. - There is more storage than I can imagine being able to reasonably use. - The cab has a high voltage plug that is hot while driving. - The rear bed has a USB charging station as well as a "cigarette-lighter" style port General Thoughts to help your decision: - If you plan to use the dinette as a bed as we did, it gets frustrating to have to convert it every morning and evening for meals. This isn't the fault of this vehicle - just a lesson learned for my future RV trips. - If you want to watch the TV while the RV is in motion, bring an extension cord. There is a plug in the cab that is live when the vehicle is in motion. - The listing implies that there is an outdoor entertainment area. There is a connection for one, but there is no TV, speaker or form of entertainment. - The listing also states that there is navigation - there is not. - The unit is bare bones. He has a few kitchen items - but we ended up having to fully stock the kitchen. The pictures show a foam bed topper, but that isn't there.
