Easy to work with good communication and a flexible schedule
This is a fabulous RV! We had a total of 6 people staying with us and we were not overcrowded. The living/kitchen space is very roomy with lots of floor space and plenty of storage. The owners delivered it to us at a fairground area and were very nice and helpful and explained where everything was. I am so happy if had 2 full bathrooms! That was a big plus! Nice homey touches makes you feel right at home! I do recommend this RV for your next adventure!
Great!! This is not the first time we rent from Charlotte. As always she was friendly and very easy to work with. Camper was in great shape and was every thing we needed. Thanks again Charlotte for the great service!
Terrific AC for the day when heat index was 112! Comfortable mattress with perfect slide out sleeping nook for our 6YO daughter. Compact size with all the comforts/necessities we needed. Thanks to Nikki for providing pots/pans, dishes, hand soap, hand towels, coffeemaker, large outdoor mat, broom, etc. so we didn’t have to pack EVERYTHING. All we packed was our food and linens. Easy to tow and steer with our basic F150. This was our first camper experience and we will definitely do it again! Thank you, Nikki!
This was our first RV experience. We took a 2-week road trip from Texas to California. Stuart and Pam were so very helpful. They did a thorough walk-thru teaching us all about Teak, plus Stuart had all of these laminated "How-To's" that were a lifesaver! We had as smooth of an experience that a family of 6 can have on their first RV Road Trip. The RV had everything we needed, plus a lot of sleeping options for the children. They even have a latch at the dining table for a child car seat. Stuart and Pam were very informative, accommodating and flexible. They answered all of our questions and were just really great down-to-earth people. Teak allowed us to have a great family vacation/adventure. We hope this is the first of many RV trips we take as a family. Look no further, Teak is the Octonaut RV for you!
The RV was great just the right size with everything we needed. Rohan was great and very accommodating. We will definitely be renting this RV again.
It’s exactly as described, everything is in great working condition, the AC maybe needs a little freon for the summer, other than that this RV was perfect for our family trip to celebrate my mom’s birthday weekend! Steve, the owner, is super helpful, accommodating, friendly and great at communicating. We had one of the smoke alarm beep on us during our trip & we didn’t know how to turn it off so we called Steve and he answered the phone right away to show us how to make it stop. I give 5 stars +++ overall experience with renting this RV and would recommend renting from Steve!!! Thanks again Steve!!!
Bill was a pleasure to deal with once again. This is my second time renting his trailer from him. I would rent again for the next trip. He is more than willing to work with you if you have any special requests. He's very easy to get in touch with and the trailer is always as advertised.
Hadn't towed in a few years, but the owner was helpful in setting me up and went over everything before and during pick up. Very friendly man as well. Took his tear drop down to Galveston for 3 days and had a great time.
Everything about this rental experience went above and beyond expectations. The RV itself was clean, well maintained and full of amenities. Kim and Joe were great at communicating what was needed for a first time renter like myself. They also went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating to our specific needs etc. Would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!
The owner was extremely easy to work with. The motorhome was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this rental.
I can't say enough about our rental through Virginia. It was thoroughly enjoyable using the RV. She had everything you could possible need for camping out plus some. Very pleasant & easy to communicate with through the whole rental. I highly recommend renting through Virginia. Very enjoyable experience. Thank you. We look forward to next year's reunion.
The RV is kept in impeccable condition and runs great. It fit our family needs perfectly, and we will be renting it again on our next trip to Texas! Plus the owners are great!
Content with experience and thankful for modern conveniences as we have used a tent for other outings. James was very polite and great with communication.
The RV was perfect for our needs. We had a graduation and had 14 house guests. It was delivered and set up so quickly. The RV was clean and he communicated very promptly with any questions He was sincere and genuine. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of renting a RV. Thank you again Shawn for sharing your RV with us.
I don’t even know where to begin. I was initially contacted by David because I made a search for similar RVs and I suppose it alerted him somehow. I expressed concern over renting his RV because of the distance his RV was from us and stated I wanted something closer. He assured me he would deliver the RV and that everything would be great etc etc and then once he got our payment it seemed everything changed. After receiving our payment David changed the location of the pickup, the time of the pickup, and the date of the pickup twice. I asked for a refund to find a different RV due to the changes in date, time, and location of pickup and I was told we were “outside the cancellation window”. It’s interesting to me that David made all the changes in time and location AFTER we were outside the cancellation window. One of the changes was because “he had dinner plans”. Never mind that my husband and I work full time and have two toddlers and had to rearrange our entire schedules four times. Which we did because we were stuck with this RV according to David so we had no choice but to accommodate him. The RV arrived with leftover food in the cabinets and was unclean. One propane tank was empty and the other was seized and unusable. The owner admitted he had not checked the propane tanks because “they were both full before the previous renters and they weren’t gone long so I knew they wouldn’t go through two tanks”. My husband ended up at the store at 10PM the night before our trip changing out propane tanks. I’m just thankful we checked them before we left and didn’t end up at our remote site without propane. All this after the owner approached me about renting his RV and not the other way around. Steer clear of this owner and this RV. I actually never leave reviews but this experience was so horrible I felt compelled to warn other people.
This RV is a high end, highly regarded Tiffin. The layout is amazing - everything was thought of in the design and it is beautiful! It was like new and in perfect condition. We absolutely couldn’t believe that we could rent an RV of this caliber. We loved that we could park it anywhere, but still had plenty of space inside. It was well equipped with everything we needed & more. Steven and his family were so nice and easy to work with. They even brought the RV to our house and picked it up when we got back. We could not have asked for a better experience. We definitely want to rent this RV again!
It was the 1st time I've rented a travel trailer. Rohan was very helpful, walked through the entire RV, showing all its functions and how to operate everything. The ease of everything from electric/water hook ups, dumping gray/black water, made for stress free trip. My kids loved it, just the right size for a family of 4. I will definitely do business with Rohan again for future camping trips.
Renting the camper was an overall wonderful experience. From pickup to drop off, everything was a smooth and very accommodating process.
Great Little Guy Rental! Super clean and well equipped with quality cooking equipment and more. Owners were very accessible and flexible with pickup and return times.
Very nice experience. Sharon was wonderful and very flexible in accommodating all requests
Hey trailer owners, do you have significant problems with your trailer and want them fixed at someone else's expense? Here is the plan: Rent your trailer to someone through RVShare. When they come to pick it up, have the trailer parked where no electrical hookups are located and make sure that the battery is dead so that none of the problems can be detected. For good measure, have someone on hand who does not know how any of the appliances work anyway. Then, when in the middle of their trip the owners discover these problems one by one and report them back to you, suggest that they can call someone out to fix them with the insurance they were required to buy - but be sure not to mention that there is a $1500 deductible that they will be responsible for. And, for good measure, have no one on hand when they return the trailer and then try to keep their security deposit for 'problems' that you document at a later date! All of the above happened to us with the trailer we rented from Nick through RVShare. There was no power to test the appliance functions when we picked up the trailer and, in fact, had to hookup the trailer electric to our truck just to operate the trailer jack to hookup the trailer to our truck. During the trip the slideout out stopped working, the heater did not work (made several nights of less than 30 degree temps real nice!), the water tank indicators did not work properly, the battery either did not charge or the battery indicator did not work; the water pump did not work, and the electrical system was sometimes overwhelmed when we attempted use of some of the above and would shut everything down except for a piercing alarm that would go off for approximately 2 minutes. Yes, that made us popular around the campground. In communication with Nick, he suggested that some of these problems might be due to the electrical hookup of the campground but they occurred repeatedly at 3 different campgrounds and some of these are well-described problems for R pod trailers on internet discussion sites. Nick did suggest that we had purchased insurance and we should call someone out - he even called RVShare to initiate that process - but we weren't about to pay the first $1500 deductible fixing his trailer issues. And, then there was no one to receive the trailer and document trailer condition upon return but the next night we received a message from RVShare that Nick wanted to keep our security deposit for damage to the trailer door. The door was not damaged as described by us - maybe someone tried to break into it overnight after we left it? Nick seemed nice and very communicative through RVShare but suffice it to say I would not rent this, or any, trailer from him again nor would I rent anything through RVShare again.
