Jeffery was fine and easy to work with. The RV smelled musty. You could tell it was in storage and had not been wiped down before we arrived to pick it up. The battery was completely dead. We checked it during the departure check list; however, the RV was connected to shore power, which caused a false positive reading. If there is no battery, then there is no refrigerator. (Cannot use propane without the battery). No Battery, no refrigerator and no lights--No good!! I told Jeffery that we would not have any hookups where we were going.

Carolyn and Bill are the nicest folks, very accommodating and flexible, and great communication at all times. The RV was better then I had anticipated, very easy to operate all features. Despite a few mechanical hiccups here and there, the trip was a success, and Bill stayed in touch frequently to check in on things. I recommend that you consider this rental for your next adventure!!

Review:

Hidden problems and undisclosed mechanical and physical malfunctions and failures ruined both our vacation and my son's wedding. There wasn't ONE DAY of the rental period that we were able to enjoy our camping experience...beginning very early in our trip, the camper smelled of sewage. We had a wedding to attend 600 miles away and were on too tight of a timeline to stop or turn around to have it checked. After settling in our campground site, my 87 year old mother was injured by the toilet breaking and dumping her to the floor (including her waste water and contents), and though the cheap, plastic toilet was later was repaired, the repairman suggested we not use it unless it was an emergency; the hot water heater pressure release valve was broken and spraying steam and hot water into the air, we had to shut it down until repaired two days later; the AC was leaking enough to gather large puddles on the floor and the situation worsened until it was "raining" water, soaking furniture and linens; one of the "futon" beds had been broken in a previous rental event and could not be used to sleep on nor sit on; because of the AC problems, the sewer gasses, no toilet, we were force to RENT SEPARATE CABINS for four members of our party. I missed most of my photoshoot with the groom (my son) and groomsmen trying to clean up water messes, while I was forced to unhook and move the camper to a site nearer the campground showers and toilet facilities, then arrange repairs. Repairs were made, but my wife and mother had to miss the photoshoots with my son's wedding party in order to remain at the site while the repairman worked on the camper problems. While returning home, a nine hour travel time had increased to over fifteen hours because the engine kept overheating, the oil pressure gauge showed a warning light for too much pressure. The engine occasionally stalled, once while the camper was blocking a busy three lane highway. These problems continued through the middle of the night while traveling through rural Georgia and South Carolina - I stopped very occasionally to let the heat drop and pressure drop, and only proceeded while all gauges were operating in the normal range. This seemed to keep the camper from stalling. Since mother could not use the on-board toilet, we had to use whatever rest stop or gas station was nearest...sometimes at the danger of putting the oversize camper in very close, tight maneuvering situations. I had accidentally damaged the camper in one of those tight situations (while trying to get the stalling camper out of the aforementioned busy three-lane traffic) and was told my personal motor vehicle insurance (Liberty Mutual) would not cover a rental so large (so beware and cover yourself with your own, or purchase RVShare's coverage).

Curt was very timely in communications and MORE than accommodating with any items I needed for my trip. He went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed since we were traveling on motorcycles and could not carry everything needed. He was accessible by phone for any issues we had during trip and even delivered, set up, and picked up Camper for us. Will definitely rent from him again.

This is indeed the one! I am new to RV'ing so I was a little skeptical about renting one but figured I would give it a shot since I am in the market to buy one. I was looking for something I could rent to spend Easter weekend in Myrtle Beach, SC with the family. Luckily, I found Curt's listing. We arranged for Curt to deliver the unit to the campground in MB and met him there for setup. He was early and actually had to wait on us to get there. Curt graciously walked me through the entire setup process answering every question I had and even answering some I didn't know to ask. He was more than willing to set it up and go, but he stayed around and walked me through everything at my request. The unit is basically brand new and spotless. Curt has outfitted the unit with just about everything you could possibly need. He had towels, toiletries, kitchen items, grill utilities, outside tables, chairs and rugs, etc, etc, etc... he even let me use a cooler in case I needed it (which I didn't because of the outside fridge). He had things I hadn't even thought about. All we had to do was bring our clothes and make a run to the grocery store and we were camping. The RV is spacious and we ended up needing the AC at one point and the heat at night. Both worked well and we were comfortable the entire time. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked almost every meal and even baked a cake in the over for Easter dinner. The living area was comfortable and has a nice, big tv and sound system. We didn't watch any tv really but we linked our bluetooth phones to the stereo system and could play music on the indoor speakers and/or outside speakers while we relaxed. The sleeping quarters were great as well. As our daughter is too young for a bed, we didn't use the bunks at the back of the unit to sleep; however, they are bigger than I expected and looked comfortable for kids. Curt put one of the bunks up and out of the way so we could use the area for storage. We were able to get the baby's bouncer, chair, etc. out of the way when not needed. The bedroom has a king bed and was quit comfortable. The bathroom was great as well. I am 6'5" and was able to shower in there with no trouble at all. My wife, who loves her hot showers, had plenty of hot water for her liking. To sum it up, this was a prefect experience. Curt is great and his unit is as well. I highly recommend renting this RV. If you think you might like to try it, do it. It was an awesome experience all around. THANKS AGAIN CURT!

This was the perfect RV for our family of 4 and this trip! It's a great size, very clean, and fully stocked. Dave and Joy have thought of everything and made it really easy on us. We're used to bringing everything, but after I had some recent health issues (I'm the packer and planner), having this fully stocked (cookware, utensils, grill, outdoor chairs, etc. as described) and ready to go made our trip so much better this year. We brought our clothes, toiletries, groceries, bikes and beachwear. We showed up and it was set up with a cute "Beach Party" sign greeting us. Perfect! So many memories were made and we hope to rent from Dave again. He was easy to communicate with and made the whole experience wonderful! He even recommended a great place for lunch on our way out of town the last day!

Working with Matt was great. We had a delay in our schedule for pick up and he worked with us to meet in a more convenient location the next morning. When there was a communication error on my part with drop off, he made it easy for us to leave it in a safe place for his pick up and not delay our trip home.

Steven was great to work with. We came into town for a wedding being hosted at Short Stay MWR, and wanted to stay there on site. Steven was very fast at responding and getting us on our way. The camper came with many of the items you would need for a camping trip to include chairs, giant door mat, fishing tackle and poles, etc. Our next trip down to South Carolina we will surely rent this RV again.
